Leather jackets- Yay or nay?

I think they look awesome, though I do tend to prefer black and I like it to be basic, like no fancy designs or patterns or anything.

Whether a person wants real or fake depends on completely on themselves and their situation - real might be appropriate for someone who's going to wear it almost all the time, but fake may be better if you aren't going to wear it that often.

Leather is ok, but I find it really, really hard to find leather that doesn't make one look like a biker or a discount gypsy thug.

As long as it fits properly than yes. i have a really nice leather jacket that dorsnt fit that nicely around the waist so i only wear it as a layering piece

I like em too... But the last one I got I got it a bit too tight. Needed one size up. Sucks cause I like it a lot. It fits just right but a touch small at the shoulders
so its either a touch too small or a touch too big

Only if it's high quality and works for the situation. Riding a motorcycle? Absolutely, yes. Walking in 100° weather? Hell no. Fall and winter? Yes. Spring? Maybe. Summer? Why would you do that to yourself?

Also, if you're going to a formal dinner or something, make sure the jacket suits the dress code.

They can look good if they fit well and are made of real leather. The fake/synthetic/pleather material does not look great in my opinion. It depends on the person, really. Not an everyday type of clothing.
