Tramp stamp? How about at least go slightly diagonal or something to counteract tramp stamp image? Yours is like cliche tramp stamp.
Like what?
But my lower back stretchmarks is horizontal and I want to cover it up
You don't know "tramp stamp"? It is well-known even in Japan.
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Lower-back_tattoo
I know what tramp stamps are.. I mean you saying slightly diagonal? :\
Something like that. If you get a tat maybe you could cover a more diagonal section of the lower back, at least enough to not look like a tramp stamp there. Just not a perfectly horizontal design across that region might help in my opinion. You can slash across the stretch marks you want to hide.
But what's wrong with stretch marks anyway that you think a tattoo would make you be seen in a better light? That's quite an awful reason to get a tat in my opinion, and it sounds like a life that could lead to regrets here and there.
See, like maybe you want a tat because you don't want to be seen as a freak. Except lotsa people have stretch marks, and not so many with tats. I have a tat because I like being seen as a freak. I wanted more of it (although I still sorta regret it). So it's like you should decide what you really want. Because stretch marks are very normal. Do you want to be seen as a freak or not?
So you think people with tattoos are freaks?
Thats messed up.
Not personally -- I like tats! But there's a cost to wearing one given how people are often hasty to jump to conclusions, like associating a meaning to a tramp stamp, thinking people who dress in very revealing ways are promiscuous (when they might not be), etc. All I'm suggesting is to try to consider whether you prefer the types of conclusions people might make seeing a tattoo as opposed to seeing stretch marks because people are unfortunately going to judge.
If I use an analogy, I think the swastika is a beautiful symbol with a powerful design aesthetic. It's actually an ancient symbol that often symbolized concepts like good fortune and prosperity. It's a very positive symbol... or at least it was until Hitler adopted the symbol for Nazi Germany. But I still think the symbol and its original ancient meaning is beautiful.
The problem is that if I get like a giant swastika tattoo, people might incorrectly assume I'm a Neo-Nazi without even asking me. More people than not tend to be very judgmental and hasty to jump to conclusions that way without even bothering to ask the person what this all means to them. So I tend to avoid wearing swastika symbols. I can handle some negative attention from others but it might start to become too annoying if I have to constantly tell people that I'm not a Neo-Nazi.
It's just too much of a social cost to me to get a swastika tattoo even though ideally I shouldn't be concerned with what other people think -- there I predict it would just become too much of a hassle for me and not really worth it even though I still really like the swastika design.
Don’t get any wording that’s gonna make it look a little old school. Why not go for like vines and flowers or I don't know something else but not wording please 😭.
you should get this one.
Those all look terrible. Don’t put that crap on your body
Personally I wouldn't get either. Your stretchmarks aren't something to be ashamed of.
My girlfriends says "MARCUS" but she's not with Marcus no more, sucks.
Not really a fan of tramp stamps. I honestly don't know why but I never found it appealing and this is from someone who likes tattoos.
Don't cover up your stretch marks with a tattoo ffs. Stretch marks are temporary, aren't they? And a tattoo is permanent. Don't throw the baby out with the bath water!
Dont cover up the stretch marks, rather just use them in a creative way for your tattoo
Itll help keep your tattoo unique
Better yet, don't get one. I know women who have had lower back tattoos, and wish they had never gotten them. Nothing looks as good as your own skin.
Personally I think they all kinda look slutty, but with text especially, but I think the top one was pretty cute :)
My personal favorite is the words "Enter Here" followed by an arrow pointing down toward the butt crack.
NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!! NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO !!!
I suggest something that doesn't look trashy... And all of your options do...
