Why do people generally look better tan? (Page 2)

Maybe it's because it's more exotic to people who are generally less tan.

Maybe it's because it's a generally desirable trait so the preconceived notion of it being really good makes it seem all the better.

Maybe it's a more scientific reason.

I do not like tan better than pale, especially if your natural skin tones are really light. None of the girls looked better in the photos to me, although they are all posing better with better hair and makeup, sooo them are some skewed photos...

Because it makes the person seem healthier. If you are spending your days going out and about, you are more exposed to the sun, and therefore: probably have a tan.

I think its an unconscious primal attraction thing hardwired into humans. Being pale is a sign of weakness and sickness, which isn't a good selection for mating purposes. You may not think that when you go tan, but I read that a while back.

That's very individual. Not everyone looks good tan and not everyone looks good pale. People look the best the way they are naturally in my opinion. Personally I prefer fair, pale skin on someone if it suits them well.

I love fair, porcelain skin.
