Does dark hair and pale skin not work well?

Question

Ok so a lot of people dont like how snow white looks now, to them its old and basic. I have heard dark-haired girls look better with a tan and the contrast doesn't look the best. Is it better if girls like us get a tan or dye our hair blonde to make the contrast less? I neither have light eyes to make the look chic or anything

I likes fair skin and dark hair, but I don't like dark hair and pale skin. The reason why is because of it have to look natural to look good. A "person of color" may natural have black or brown hair at the same time having a relatively fair or light skin. Examples are north-Indians, East-Asians and South-Europeans. They've naturally brown skin and it often goes nicely together with dark hair. When they've a lighter skin than the average population, they still have a beige or yellow-brown like tone.

When a pale person dyes their hair dark, it would usually look unnatural and the contrast would be too sharp. Pale people usually have pinkish or orange like skin instead of yellow-brown and beige. Sometimes they even have blue or green like. I've seen many in Scandinavia and the UK trying it. Often naturally blonde or red heads doesn't suit dark hair like how dark haired doesn't suit hair bleaching.

Even pale blonde people like Eva Green doesn't really suit it, but the reason she still can nicely pull off the black hair is because of she had spray tanned her skin two or three shades darker than her actually tone.

Natural looking skin looks much more healthy and much more attractive. I guess I'm similar to you but I have a little color and medium dark hair with hazel eyes. I'm pretty pale though. I think it's totally fine in pretty! You're basically describing how many Chinese or Korean or Japanese and northern European or Russian women look. Those are some of the prettiest women.

I have very pale skin, not even the palest foundation matches although it doesn't look like it in my profile pic. I was blonde for a while and I definitely felt like that complimented my skin tone more, that I looked so much better and had more dating interest although that last point could've been down to typical blonde stereotyping rather than a contrast difference.

Pale skin isn't old or basic. Pale skin is beautiful, ethereal and extremely rare on a worldwide basis. The vast majority of the planet has darker skin, so if any skin tone is basic it would be brown/tan.
Anything natural looks better than fake. Don't artificially tan and please, for the love of everything, don't dye your hair.

Your sources suck. Guys overwhelmingly approve of the dark hair and pale skin combination. Tans are falling out of favor, and guys who like darker toned women are going for women who are naturally darker.

If she is caucasian, i kind of find it odd but in a good way specially if her hair is curly. I just think that combination is unique even for guys. I know he is not pale but he is still caucasian. It's just too common for me to see Asian girls who are pale with black but straight hair that's why.

I typically prefer white skin. But you bet your ass I check out tanned women too. As for the contrast shit. I don't think it matters. Unique people are generally more appealing to those who don't fit the norm themselves.
