So this is relevant to my last question- Is this style unattractive to men? Would you take a women less seriously if she dresses like this? i feel like men don't take me seriously and i wonder if my dress sense could be anything to do with that?, i feel like its unique and different in a good way but even though many men on the poll said they found it attractive, i was wondering if they might not see a women as something long term or seriously for a girlfriend maybe?
Honest answers appreciated.. here are some more examples of stuff i like and wear, it can vary quite abit but this is the sort of things i wear.

I try hard not to judge people (women especially) for their clothing, makeup, and other style decisions, especially when it comes to unrelated personality traits.
We as a society put too much store in cosmetic and superficial indicators as a predictor of other, more important traits and it's not healthy.
We should not, for example, expect some level of make-up skill to be a requirement for a job interview, unless make-up skills are part of the job in question. The standards surrounding make-up, in this case, disproportionately affect women, but there are other less gendered expectations that can have disproportionate impact on people of color, people of certain religions, or people with socioeconomic disadvantage.
All of these impacts should be reduced or eliminated, and we're each a part of that process. When it comes to changing laws, the responsibility falls on the shoulders of lawmakers, but we're talking about a cultural and social shift, and that's something that everyone must be responsible for in some small way.
The variety of images made the question confusing. The pink dress on the blond was perfectly lovely. The pink dress with the black bow was fashion faux pas. The black choker with the heart wasn't bad at all. It could be kinda classy. The black kitty stockings might be alright under certain circumstances and the dress was cute. The stockings were playful and sexy. The dingle ball earrings are lame. The pokeman and candy themes were infantile. I certainly would not take those girls seriously. The girl standing by the fire plug looks like a prostitute.
dressed like what? you shown many very different outfits and styles some of which are are more "professional" than others. Also, each outfit can have its own time and place. You obviously prefer to have a playful styles depending on what your "profession" is would largely dictate how you dress and where you wear each piece. What do you do for a living? Age would also play a role. Are you in your late 20's?
I find some of the stuff okay however, some of it isn't. How am I supposed to take someone serious when they're wearing a dress with cartoon characters all over it? I mean sure, in an informal it's cute and whatnot but in a formal setting, they wouldn't be my top choice for a serious conversation.
I have 2 complaints. 1. The candy necklace. It's a strong statement, but all I'm hearing is that you like lollipops.
2. The character prints. To me, it seems more like you're revering that character. I prefer a person who has their own style, and can express it, rather than someone who covers themself with pictures of someone else.
I like all the other dresses, though, and can take them seriously. The leggings and pom-poms are awesome. They make a statement and look good doing it (imo), and don't take away focus from you as a whole.
The style may be a bit childish. It doesn't bother me, some of it I would consider cute and quite feminine. I definitely see others as judging them a bit as childish and I would probably be protective / defensive of the style if I felt others were judging a friend / girlfriend if mine based on style.
I do think that kind of stuff is attractive, or cute, to be more specific. I like cute girls more than those overly stiled and huge breasted girls most men like, but to answere the question: it highly depends on the situation. It's not heavily connected to cute vs "stiled". Example: If choose a cold outfit in winter, then yes I'd take you less serious and I'd think twice before wanting to date you. So if you choose a cute dress in a serious envirment, you'll probably be laughted at for being childish or lacking the neccessary feeling for the atmosphere. In my personal opinion all the dresses (except the last one, she looks like a hooker) are cute and rather a turn-onn. Same goes for the choker, kneesocks and the coockie-chain (that shits rat), but the lolipop chain makes me think you have daddy-issues (the earring is nice tho).
On observation alone, yes. I'd make all sorts of assumptions. However, I have met some people who are acquaintances, who are actually quite mature and intelligent. So while I still would be predisposed to not take this style of clothing seriously, I wouldn't be closed to changing my mind about them should they prove to have a good head on their shoulders.
It's cute and sexy to a degree but perhaps if it was too much of her personality it would come across as childish. In the end the packaging isn't what you're after it's the contents,
This is something far too many women seem to ignore when considering what men like about them. YOU are not the packaging, you're the sweet inside, think about what ingredients you bring to the snack,
This is good, but, as many other posters have already pointed out, there is always a mortal danger that you face if I were to date you. You see, when I drink too much whiskey I get very hungry. My favorite food is--you guessed it--lolipops. Therefore, every night in the bedroom would be like the opening scene from Jaws except much more decisive. I'd be okay with everything but the lollipop jewelry. It's not cute, it's just tacky. In terms of being taken serious, I don't base that on your outfit as much as your personality. If you want to dress like that go ahead. If I have an issue, I'll probably make a joke about it. Wear what you want as long as your confident about it and it's what you like, it shouldn't matter.
It looks fine on some women, but it just looks a bit immature, I don't think I could take that very seriously. Honestly it just looks weird to me, kinda like if a man wore overall shorts, and a baseball cap, or something a little boy would stereotypically wear.
I would take you less serious than the woman who dresses in a classic style I would consider your artistic uniqueness spin to actually be an attempt to cover anti-social psychological issues and/or a case of feminism
Honestly, yeah. I’m not into the whole whimsically sexy little girl thing. It has a vibe like she’s trying too hard to be cute and quirky and sexy, and it’s just weird.
I'll be honest. You'll have to be known by people and build a good reputation to be taken seriously. I don't think anyone would want to do it at a first glance.
Just like anyone else has the right to dress however they please and being capable of a relationship. Sure not everyone would agree but thats just whatever, you're good (girl).
Cat stockings are cute, the pink dresses are ok but please no plastic shoes. The choker is fine too, the rest is too juvenile for a woman out of high school.
( I'm talking about some outfits only, some are commons and not impacting at all ) It's rarely / never seen outside media ( who ridiculise it, consciously or not ) and I've never seen it myself in real life, so If I encounter this I would assume the cliché I know for this or that outfit. But it's first impressions, I'm aware of it but it's still here.
They look good to me. The dresses are modest enough and they are revealing enough to see how pretty she she is. And, it is the girl that I am attracted to and not her dress.
1, 3, the hat in 6, 7 and the sweater in 9 are good but the rest are kinda off putting and childish. I would take the mentioned ones seriously and find attractive but the rest is neither, I would think that theyre a Japanese Cosplayer.
For a relationship? No. The summer dress with no characters, the choker, the stuff that doesent look playful, I would give a different opinion on. Mostly, however, it looks like someone enjoying their youth and still needs to grow up some
