Maybe cause they're confident and dont associate their hair with their beauty. Maybe they want people to see more than what's just on the outside. Not all women base their appearance off what they feel guys would be most attracted to. Ever hear the saying "girls like what they hear and guys like what they see, that's why girls wear makeup and guys lie"? Ask a truthful man why he tells the truth if it means he will get less girls. Maybe he doesn't want a girl who can't handle the truth and maybe a girl who shaves her head doesn't want a guy who cares so much about her physical appearance? Or maybe it's much more simple and she just got tired of her damn hair.
Could be plenty of reasons. Beauty, charity, depression, mental illness (like Trichotillomania) and some shave their head because they have difficult hair and can't be bothered with it lol
Many of them simply can't pull off the look. Too many of them OVER-compensate with too much make-up, etc. Some go for the "stubble look" (as in your sample picture) which is just in "hair limbo" - not bald but not hairy! Some don't have a nice enough skull to have it look "right". (When I worked in an up-scale spa, I had two alopecia patients within about two weeks of each other, and both were prettier than the sample picture. For women with patchy alopecia, a full shave is 101% better than looking like a yard with a bad seed job). What evidence it's your opionion. A woman with a beautiful face is not going to become ugly just because she shaves her head but the overall attraction goes down. Most men prefer hair that's just how it is.

Its because they want to be unappealing to men. They are having an existential crisis thinking if their whole purpose to life is to attract a man and have a family. Which according to evolution yes it is their whole purpose. So they want to make themselves unattractive and experience the world a different way. And it works. Men think its hideous.
I think women who shaves their heads looks badass. And women who does mohawks are as badass and awesome, i have few female friends that shaves their heads and I don't see as them making them selves as less attractive
I like it. I shaved my hair when I was 8 and stopped shaving when I turned 11. I loved the feeling and not having to blow dry it and comb it 😌 My mother still shaves her head

actually the skinhead look is more often adopred by the far right and especially white supremecists but rather than trying to hijack another users question to push some messed up political agenda many of us chose to answer the question that was asked

Some do it because it does look good on them. But many more still I have seen just do it to, "oppose the patriarchy and societal norms of beauty", or some such childish nonsense.
