What do you think of a sequin dress?

I have a love-hate feeling towards them. I love the look but hate when it gets caught on things. I love it for fancy events/a new years party... but I don't go to many fancy events and new years happens only once a year. I owned one before, but it got ripped from the chain of a friend's hand bag, so I had to toss it.

The first one is a bit tacky, but the others are fine. Sequins look fine as long as you do your best to avoid looking like your crazed aunt Clara in the 80s.

Except for the first one, they all look pretty in the picture. But sequin dresses in person, can get too sparky and dang near bind someone if they stare directly at it too long 🤣

All except the last one. I like the 1st one and 4th one the best. The second one is very pretty but I’d have to wear something underneath maybe pantyhose or leggings

I like sequins as long as they are tasteful. Too much can be a little tacky. I like the second picture best!

I like them if they look like fish scales or shiny feathers, fourth one looks like tin foil it's less good looking.

(The first picture would actually a paillette dress). They have their place in more festive occasions, but don't expect that they will have a long life expectancy without extreme care.
