Do you think high heels are attractive? & If so, why?

I tried on high heels while browsing to buy shoes for high school prom, and they were so painful that I never tried them on ever again.
I think it's sick that women are often expected to wear heels. They're painful and cause permanent damage to the feet, and they make it much more difficult for a woman to run away, in case of an emergency.

I think these women look just fine in their sneakers

Heels are very attractive, they lift your whole body, your legs are longer, your feet look smaller, your butt is lifted, and you kind of have to sway sexily when you walk. Yes heels are attractive, but only if you walk in them correctly.

Some people just don't feel the effort or have the poise or balance to wear heels, and that's totally fine. It's much better to wear shoes that you feel comfortable in rather than force yourself. I teach all my friends to buy the correct fitting shoes and walk properly in heels because there's nothing worse than watching these very done up girls who have nice hair and pretty clothes stumble around like new born donkeys on a Friday evening. Very unbecoming.

I personally love wearing heels. I find Valentino to be the most comfortable shoes, although I think over 10cm is very stripperish. They just provide more lift when I walk and give me some bounciness. Most of my everyday shoes have 2 or 3 centimetres at the back. I just don't like the feeling of completely flat shoes.

I’m not attracted to women, but I don’t think they look any better in high heels. I personally think shorter women are more feminine and thus physically more appealing than taller women, so wearing high heels and making themselves taller can make them less attractive, especially if they are already tall or averaged height to begin with. And like you said, it can be permanently damaging to women’s feet, and there’s nothing attractive about that.

I think the main physical thing that high heels do is accentuate the calves. However, the same effect can be achieved, for photographs, at least, by pointing the toes - take a look at almost any Russian girl's Instagram photos and she will be pointing her toes regardless of what she is wearing on her feet.
The other effect they can have is less direct. Some girls feel special when they wear their fancy shoes and this makes them happy and confident, which comes across as attractive. This is obviously not going to happen if you aren't comfortable. If you don't like high heels, don't wear them to impress us. Wear something that you enjoy wearing and you will naturally carry yourself with a more positive energy that we will want to be around.

I think the legs make the heels and not the other way around. Many girls look great in them, many don't. The same can be said for sneakers.
However sometimes a certain look requires you to go all the way.
I didn't leak wearing smart shoes with my prom suit either, would have preferred sneakers but it is what it is. We all gotta wear the part sometimes.

High heels are kinda overrated. They're just shoes that make girls appear a bit taller. I guess they can complete outfits well in some cases, but so can other shoes.

If the heels are tall to the point of the wearer barely being able to walk is just stupid though.

There's no doubt high heels have a strong visual effect. They can also make an outfit work in the way that flats wouldn't.

There's also no doubt they aren't good for your calf muscles and your feet.

So, wear them if the occassion's right but generally don't wear them. Personally, I wear them to clubs, especially fetish clubs, and in the bedroom (or other parts of the house where I'm looking for, shall we say, a little action).

I voted D. I don't want women to be taller but heels make their legs look sexy and make women move more seductively. I don't like super high heels, though, and I hate the kind that have platform soles. I'm not all that crazy about stiletto heels or pointy toed shoes, either. But some high heel shoes look sensational with the right outfit.

High heels are a death trap I don't ever want to have to deal with on my feet. (They used to be for guys. Thanks, Louis XIV.) To me, they don't look good, they just look uncomfortable! Maybe they give a little extra height to shorter girls, but that's all they're good for.

I find women more attractive in high heels because it visually makes their legs seem longer, ankles narrower hence legs more shapely and does tend to make their butt stick out. I accept that it makes them taller though don’t see that as a plus in terms of looks, but it’s worth it.

High heels look great but they are often a pain in the ass to wear. I don't wear it very frequently. It also messes up your feet. After years of frequent heel wearing, it turns all ugly, veiny and gross.

I do find girls that wear heels are often more attractive. however I know that high heels (3 inch or higher) tend to hurt the girls feet/legs over time. so even shorter heels can have a similar effect. without hurting the girls feet/legs as much.
