Hear me out, because I've tried them. They looked hot from the front, until you saw the disaster at the back. I treasure my nice butt and the jeans didm't actually cover my butt properly... could always see the actual top of my butt cheeks sticking out over the top, in the most inappropriate way. So I got rid of those :)

Most girls are fat and it shows more with low-waisted jeans. Unfortunately, rather than lose weight, what most girls choose to do is just wear dumb-looking high-waisted stuff. On a hot girl with a slim figure, low-waisted is waaaayyyy better/hotter.
Why high-waisted jeans, leggings, and shorts are stupid!

My niece had some and at first I thought her pants were falling down. Took another look and they were low waisted jeans. You could see her panties and it made her butt look big. If she was skinny like the girl in the pic, she could pull it off. But for her being chubby it looks terrible.

These are 2000s trend seemingly returning, as Paris Hilton said back then "that's hot."
They emphasize a fit mid section & lead the eye lower, very sexy.

I think it's funny this site is called "girls ask guys" yet most replies are from girls saying why they didn't like them, which only echo the problems with fashion/beauty with health/overweight.

It’s just less flattering for most girls. Makes for waist look wider, hips slimmer, legs shorter, etc. Also if you have just even a little fat on your hips, low rise jeans can give you a muffin top.

Only that you might shave a nice bush to wear them and there aren't many women that can due to exposing a belly/gut. There is nowhere to stuff the fat so most women would probably pass on them.
