Back in my teen & university years, I LOVED camos, even though I never considered joining the military. (The Boy Scouts was my closest option I actually chose, and I wore camouflage pants with my uniform-shirt.) My parents, though, didn't and would dissuade me. After graduation, I was pushed to overhauling my wardrobe to look more professional. So now, I wear more formal- & semi-formal wear. I still do miss my camos.

I used to wear a lot of military surplus stuff. I quit after the Iraq war. Soldiers were coming back all screwed up I didn't want them to have to see desert camo walking up the street.
