Do you like wearing medical masks?

Actually since the beginning of corona I've been lazy to wear it. I prefer isolation at home than having to go out wearing it. If only going out to go to the store near my house I never wear it.

I read in google that a lot of men tend to dislike medical masks but women usually don't mind and it looks cute.

I've also heard about some people having fetishes with medical masks ( women/men) and that makes me even more lazy.

I really like life before covid 19 when people don't wear medical masks.

rant time 😂 i get so pissed of with people that dont just put a mask on when its required. not saying that you have to wear them all the time, but when in the middle of a pandemic and no one knew what was happening, the world introduced rules to try and prevent the spread of a dangerous virus. to then see people blatantly braking rules because they can't be assed, or didn't want to for what ever reason just screams of selfish twats. you may be ok and survive if you caught it, but what about the people that wouldn't survive, like the old and ill (my dad for example). so its ok for you to do what you want and not worry about anyone else. but people like that will be the first ones to complain when the ambulance doesn't get to them as they are to busy dealing with other patients that could have been prevented by wearing a mask etc. and what about the peopel wroking in the hospitals etc that had to deal with excess work due to someone not liking or wanting to wear a mask and making situations worse.

my worst one was a guy that was walking around the shop against the flow of people, when lines and arrows were on the floor indicating which direction to go. it nearly ended up in a fight as he didn't give a S*%t and told him so. why for the sake of others can people not just wear a mask for a small amount of time for the better of others.

now dont get me wrong i didn't like wearing them and due to work had to travel to forign countries and sit of plains for hours wearing a dam mask that made my eyes dry and runny noses etc, but i did for my safety and the safety of others.

now i know i am going to get a lot of feedback (abuse) from all the mask haters for this but its my 2 pence

What’s rude is how you mask wearers walk around telling others to put a mask on because You lack the empathy sympathy and common courtesy to understand that people that don’t like mask don’t like them for a reason. It reaches a psychopathic level. When riding a train few years back the train employee came up to me told me to wear a mask or he will stop the train and I would be left to fend for myself in the middle of nowhere. When Someone is sad and depressed and doesn’t wanna wear mask because it depresses them even further you mask wearers have no sympathy for them.

I don't have any strong feelings other than "if I'm out and around people, I'm wearing it".

It's a medical tool for me, not really a fashion statement. I just have the black ones from Costco.

I actually find I don't mind wearing them - especially when I'm working the budtender job. I don't have to wear a fake smile and it alleviates a lot of my stress. I'm the only one at that job not to have gotten COVID and I'm the only one that reliably wears a mask and has all the shots.

Actually I am very lazy when wearing a medical mask. because for the sake of respecting government rules I was forced to wear it, I also often violate it maybe 70% violate 30% wear out of respect.

and if I only go out not far from home, for example going to the store or not in a crowded place, I never use it. When i go out in a crowd and don't wear a mask, people will look at i and i will be the center of attention

I’ve always worn them. Scooping cat litter pans, painting/cleaning, riding my motorcycle (for fumes and dust) Even with asthma they don’t bother me.

I don't like it or hate it at this point it's kind of there. Also I was on life support for several weeks at one point. So at this point wearing medical mask or even a gas mask at this point is nothing compared to that mess. Tubes crambed up your nose and mouth with a tracheotomy tube hocked into your neck makes wearing a medical mask a joke. This is even more true given that you can take a medical mask off when you eat. But when you are on life support you get to attempt to eat around the tubes in your mouth and the ones running down the back of your throat.

I usually wear a bandana outside or a black surgery mask if I'm inside. I wear them all day for work. In all honesty it's kept my skin breakout free because I don't touch my face at all
