Do you agree that most people cheat becuase things aren't great in their current relationship?

I think that's one factor, but also I think some people have a self destruct mode where they can't allow themselves to be happy, or their lustful urges and the love of 'the chase' can overtake rational thinking.

And it can definitely be self-sabotage, as WELL as (sexual) habits, sexual need/drive, and some developed mindset (s)/perspective (s).

In the beginning of my relationship I struggled with each!

to help eliminate problems- through* COMMUNICATION helps cross the mines each may have, and obstacles life can present.

Also to help eliminate self-sabotage you have to realize it’s from constant let downs and lack of belief in self and others. Can we work on something and it be a good thing? YES

So affirmation/reassurance/ and some positive practices can all help that. Reminders from their partner and giving it time can help build TRUST which will lead in the rest so there’s no sabotaging going on ever!

If the partner has a sexual need and drive higher than the other, they need to DISCUSS IT (this is also how communication can be a big help). The next thing is finding an agreement so the partner can help their so to feel satisfied in each aspect of their relational/ communal lives together. If there is somehow some disconnect, I don’t see any problem with self pleasure with them being present. If they’re just tired and not feeling it, but you are, there has to be a way to make it work for the both of you.

BUT if the sexual interest and care just isn't there, then you have to end it cause the desire to build a relation together isn’t there, and the compatibility in sexual arena and other isn’t there and that’s indeed what partners do and what distinguishes them from just anybody.

Don’t cheat and try hiding something from someone who doesn’t care for you and that you don’t really get along with or want to be with. That’s the most unnecessary heartache and headache, so be assertive and intentional with what you want in life and what you need as you go.

Be assertive, docile, intentional, and COMMUNICATIVE. This will help lower chances of cheating, promote relationship wellness, and increase the longevity of the relationship if that’s what you want. And that can all be done guilt-free, drama-free, and mess free.

This is interesting. I’m with the anonymous guy who answered here and your prompt as well. Often I wondered why I get some taken men to still look, double takes, lingering looks or following me with their eyes, and such… or still get compliments by taken men. It does make me uncomfortable, disgusts me, and questioned those type of behaviors. I feel bad for their partners who has someone that is too busy chasing someone with their eyes, mind, or more instead of focusing who they have infront of them. Sure there’s good looking & charming people, but it’s not okay to do things when you’re in a relationship in my opinion.

I can only assumed they’re not happy in their relationships, it’s a lustful desire they’re unable to control or unwillingly to control, a habit that isn’t being managed, not considerate nor respectful of their partner, lack of faithful and appreciation of their current relationship, unable to maintain and/or not know how to lead a healthy committed relationship, wanting to have all their cakes, self-sabotage, commitment problems, or unhappy with themselves. I think people cheat for multiple reasons and it follows the things I just mentioned. It can also come from their culture, insecurities, and how they grow up not having a good model (of their parents) to show what makes a healthy, loving relationship.

I really honestly don't know. As a guy who gets a lot of looks from women, I see cute girls out with their boyfriends all the time and these girls sneak looks at me. They find a reason to turn their head or look my way when their boyfriend isn't looking. They make eye contact with me sometimes very flirtatiously. Sometimes they're looking to have a subtle flirt behind their boyfriend's back.

It's pretty common. I see now why guys with hot girlfriends have a lot of insecurity because these guys know that their girls are sharks always on the hunt to upgrade her man.

Yup , 👍 all of those reasons and many more besides it but virtually all with the simple commonality that people “choose” to cheat and betray. they do so “knowing” that it’s wrong but somehow think that as long as they are not caught there is no wrong ! To me it’s delusional. the longer the betrayal remains hidden the more they feel empowered to repeat either with the same person or another.

i definitely have a self sabotage mode i go into at times. I wouldn't cheat but i’ll definitely look. I could date the most gorgeous guy and around my friends, i’d still be like “damn that dude over there is hot”. doesn't mean i’d leave one hot guy for another

A hacker group hacked into their computer system, and gave them an ultimatum. Either they shut the site down in 30 days, or all the names of the subscribers along with their email addresses, phone numbers addresses would be released to the public.
