Did those filters only made you feel worse that you can’t even take a selfie?🙊
And only left you with more insecurities?😭
If that's you in the pictures, I don't think you have anything to worry about. I can tell by looking at you that you're very pretty regardless of the filters.
But yes, those filters are pretty much designed to make you look better, or at least to make you think you do. However, I've seen a lot of filters that make people's features look over-exaggerated and almost creepy, too (especially the ones in which they enlarge your eyes and put that weird glow in them). I think now that filters are so popular and common, people (women especially) are starting to compare their unfiltered selfies to other girls' filtered pics (or their own) and are starting to feel insecure.
You're beautiful, you don't need them. No one 'needs' them. But you have nothing to worry about. Head high. One day you'll see how much time you wasted judging yourself. Focus on the inside.🌺
Never used Instagram but why care about your lip size and that. Listen most guys dont care as long as you take care of yourself. The guys who do care are usually womanizers. Most of my insecurities come from my weight which is something I can change and work. If you cannot do it without surgery dont worry about it. The right people will love you because of your flaws. It reminds me of my first girlfriend where she had a dry rough spot of skin on her left elbow. She was insecure about it but I loved it not because it was pleasant or perfect but because it was the imperfections of a person that I loved. That she had faults like me.
Can I be honest with you? Guys don't give a shit about women's selfies and if that's the only way you can feel good about yourself, you need to reevaluate your perspective.
I also hope you recognize that these filters are designed to cover up imperfections. They are not representative of true beauty. Even the woman in the photos, she has a very narrow face and lots and lots of makeup on. The butterflies are a distraction so you don't notice either of those things.
With all that being said, she's a model who probably took a million photos before settling on these, and then put filters over them.

That's why I don't use filters, selfies alone play with my mind because they're inverted and they create a wrong idea in my mind as to how I look, but filters would be even worse, and they do leave a bad impact on people, leaving them more insecure and unhappy with their looks and sometimes even pushing them to catfish and fool even themselves, believing that's how they actually look.
So no, thanks.
Hmmm... No for me personally i would never do that to my face. Because i don't need to.
I'm 34 years old and if i shave and get a haircut i look like an 20years old. Lmao believe me it's weirdest thing.
Yet what's the point in the filter if in real life you ain't the same.
Sure I ain't one to favor those type of stuff but if it makes you happy who am i to judge.
And sure we are so used to perfectionism that we gotta have it in our lifes as people.
I use filters but I never really thought they made a difference other than make my skin clearer. But in a lot of instances filters can be very toxic to young girls and woman. I definitely think that filters impact a lot on girls and effect their confidence. But everyone’s beautiful so there really no need to use filters
I don't use insta filters the only thing I'd o is use the beauty cam when taking pics because it removes and spots or mark etc but I sometimes post without any form of filters coz I like my face without anything being applied changed or filtered
Snap/insta filters change my face shape so i don't use those much but I do use the smooth/clear skin apps, acne is a bitch and I break out when i wear foundation.
I don't use filters because I find that my face looks weird with Snapchat's ones like it changes the shape and I don't like it, and I don't use them on instagram just because I don't like them (like I don't find them cute or anything) the only filters I use only change the color, the atmosphere of the picture. Or sometimes I go on Snow because we can modify how much the filter changes our face's shape so it doesn't do it at all
I never use instagram filters, but i have used some of the filters on snapchat, it was fun going funny faces with filters like an idiot, i like it!
I don’t know how to use filters. On anything. I think it makes people look weird and unnatural most of the time.
I know there are a lot of editing sites one can find for free if they search enough. Instagram filters are lousy & sotie.
I never use IG filters and I’m happy with my eyes and lips.
I dont have Instagram. I find social media to be mostly boring and pointless
In all honesty, filters give me a little self esteem/confidence boost.
I used filters for fun but most of the times I dont use it
sometimes my hair was v messy when I took the pic but I just posted it
"Instagram filters made me..." appearing like an alien
I don't use Instagram. If those are the lips you aspire to and those are from the filter, I'd do some serious re-thinking. I'd bet your own natural lips look way better.
I’m already blessed with big lips. So they look ridiculous on me. The problem is they thin my nose
Sis you may not care but watch this it's super short

Filters of any kind, Instagram or otherwise, are fucking stupid.
They just make me feel insecure. I'd rather post my bare face
I never use it. I don't think I need it. I'm fine with how I present myself to the world.
