Is it a big deal to have long hair?

Its probably a big deal because not every girl has long hair. Being very honest, its about how girls carry themselves. I have seen girls with very short hair and they rock it. Being very honest, I love it when girls have longer hair, but its not a red flag or a deal breaker for me if her hair length is really short, the owner of the hair as a person is more important to me. Also, its your hair, whatever length or whatever style you want, rock it and be happy. I hope this helps :)

Personally, I don't like short hair on a woman, young or old. It's a turn off for me if it's much shorter than her shoulders. Unless she's tiny, I think it sometimes makes them look heavier when you can see more of their neck.

For guys, it can be a pain just because our culture says "decent guys have short hair". Mine was down to my shoulders for about 10 years and I was constantly being told to get a haircut and look respectable.

Long hair symbolizes youth and fertility, capable of bearing strong, healthy babies.. but not all women have the healthiest hair, no matter what age. You have to have a lot of patience to grow it out, and that in itself says you are a patient person... by all means, grow it out if it’s not thin and stringy, dry and damaged.. I love long hair and braids and buns and long curls.. so versatile and feminine.

I have really thick hair and where I live is really hot so I cut it in the summer but I just notice that people are real quick to give an opinion about my hair being shaved.

I mean, no? I don't know. Some people look better with long hair some people look better with short hair. And some people prefer to keep their hair long. I don't see the big deal.
