+1 yFrom the different states and neighborhoods I have moved to, as a child. My father was an electrician working in rich family houses in Colorado.
He wanted me or my siblings to tag along, to watch him work. Here’s what I noticed about rich people or families:
-They own Cadillacs or lincoln cars
-They have two assistances with them. The designer and main assistant.
-The wife handles the assistants while the husband is at work and the children are at camp or private sports.
-They own BIG dogs like German shepherds, Labradors, and mastiffs.
-The children wear California logos.
-you’ll see newspaper 📰 clippings and trophy 🏆s of their accomplishments on the walls.
-There’s always a mini bar for the husband.
-if you’re a worker/stranger and have something to say, you speak to the assistants or the wife.
-They own different house properties (mostly cabins on gateway trips).
-They surround themselves with sports people or are involved with sports/Olympics.
Now, I was a little kid like 11/12 years old. I would watch and analyze these people behavior. That I notice, they’re just like us. But surround themselves with activities and positive people. Like couches, sports, and entrepreneurs.
The point is, surround yourself with accomplishing people and get into activities. Like sports, gym, and traveling. Living a rich life. Not money. LIFE.10 Reply

That depends on your definition of rich? Strictly speaking of money, then they way you dress and carry yourself. Confidence is a big part too. Its easy to spot someone trying to look rich by their attitude as opposed to someone who is. Most everyday rich people don't go flaunting their wealth around talking about driving they're Audi and their indoor swimming pools. Rather its smaller things that slip out in regular conversation that seem normal to them, but aren't to those less fortunate. Like, I made some delicious swordfish on the grill last week for my dinner party. Its typical non bragging conversation, but swordfish is expensive and most don't serve that at dinner parties unless they have money.

+1 yIn our community the richest people are quite ordinary.
One looks like a overworked oil patch redneck, always in work boots, loose laces, work pants work shirt, plaid jacket, drives a muddy 4x4 and flies a 10-year-old plane and he owns a business worth $100 million.
A local real estate owner wears t shirts with a tiny alligator or ponies on them and drives a modest car and he's one of the richest men in town.
The owner of one of the local mills, a woman, whose family owned a chain of wood mills- she sold them for $350 or $550 million- drove a top-of-the-line Mercedes, convertible, green, was always flying to some country or other and lived in a nearby city. She was the only local person who looked rich. Her conversations were filled with travel experiences.
There are others, and all impress as rather ordinary. An accountant who could live anywhere in the world chooses here. I have no idea how much he's worth but it's certainly $10 or $20 million, but you'd never know except for his firm's beautiful office building.
But it's Canada. It could be the culture.13 Reply- +1 y

He's very polite and also full of energy despite being upwards of 75 years old. If it weren't for his extremely limited production supercar that he takes out on nice days, you would never guess that he was as well off as he is.
The thing is... Most wealthy men do not do anything differently than they would otherwise. They don't have anything to prove to anyone, so they're just going to enjoy life.10 Reply

But clothing is key, not goona lie.
Buy classic pieces that are good quality and not fast fashion that shrinks, loses shape, and fades. Look up the term 'capsule wardrobe' and follow those rules.
I personally recommend trying to find natural materials, not synthetics - leather, suede, cotton, not polyester, etc., as much as possible. (Though these materials are much harder to come by nowadays. Their production cost is high.)
Also, your language and way of speaking. Those elevate people.
So many people are so concerned with personal comfort, and individual rights nowadays. Looking put together, and acting composed, basically like you give a shit - about yourself, the world, society - is what sets people apart.20 Reply
+1 yYou need to have a certain poise and finesse. Wear fancy clothes or if you can't afford anything fancy opt for good quality clothes with nice fabrics. A good purse and nice shoes. A good perfume, you need to smell good all the time. Minimum jewellery. A good pair of shades to wear every time you go outside. You need to have manners while you're eating too. I've noticed that people who come from rich families or for example if you look at the royal family they always try to look as natural as possible, simple makeup or barely any makeup however the hair is always impeccable, nails are usually short and natural nothing crazy like long ass acrylic nails and they usually opt for for the classic red, french manicure or neutral tones.

+1 yLooking rich and being rich are quite different.
Most people that look rich just do that to avoid being seen as less fortunate. The main factors to looking rich are attire and confidence, attire doesn't always mean brand names. If someone looks like they're dressed well or have a great sense of fashion they automatically get a more opulent vibe. Acting confident in yourself will also make someone appear higher class, although being narcissistic isn't recommended in my book.21 Reply- +1 y
Opulent. Good SAT word lol.
+1 yRich people but certain over priced clothes of certain exclusive that identifies themselves to each other and the style changes each year. Yes its often how they look and behaved but often its a case of the emperor having no clothes, theh might look rich but really aren't
10 Reply2.7K opinions shared on Fashion & Beauty topic. It doesn't take a lot of money to look rich. My wife has a closet full of designer clothes and shoes she got at resale for about 10% of the price new. She has an $1800 Thom Browne sweater she got for $50. All kinds of designer shoes and dresses, Gucci, Prada, Chanel, Stewart Weitzman, BCBG, Vince, etc.
Behave? I can only tell you how classy people behave: courteously. Classy people with money are generous to waitstaff and others who provide a service, without demanding special treatment.10 ReplyA fleet of luxury cars, private security/jet, a mansion with "blue marble floors". Two Olympic sized swimming pools.
A fucking pile of hundred-dollar bills wrapped together that his God-children can just pick at without him getting butt-hurt about not having enough money.
But even with all that, he's still pretty chill.
No he is not my Godfather. But it'd be pretty nice to have him as one.20 ReplyFor looks all you have to do is dress nice and look clean. Behave with class and do not boast or exaggerate what you have, because no one likes a braggart
10 ReplyIt’s obviously multiple bankruptcies, stealing from charities and not paying taxes lol.
Ok seriously I’m not sure about looking rich some rich people look rather plain others dress for success I guess I thinks it has to do with the confidence in the way talk about business the show shark tank a good reference of rich people discussing money and negotiating00 Reply
+1 yTo tell you the truth, it's mostly about the clothes you where. A trained eye can tell how expensive your clothes are. Manners, vocabulary and education level are important too but not as obviously as clothing or good style.
10 ReplyFeeling unconfident i told myself i had a million dollars in the bank. You walk a little taller when you think highly of yourself id be surprised of i had 2000$ in the bank but you'd think I was rich, a rich mans clothes would feel natural to me

Anonymous(45 Plus)+1 yAnswer anonymously to avoid getting hate. I’ve always been told I look rich. Now I make more money than most people do so I have the means to look rich but even when I was starting my career I always got those comments. Along with them I was always told I had a very clean and polished look. And it didn’t have to do with expensive clothes, it was more about what and how to wear it.

10 ReplyA rich person will dress in expensive clothing, drive an expensive car and wear expensive jewelry. Some may not but it’s easy to look rich if you flaunt it with material possessions.
