Does eye color matter?

Guys and girls, is eye color important? I have brown eyes ( I know, yuck :p) and I've like guys with blue/green eyes, and sometimes I feel intimidated, like they won't like me because I have boring brown eyes, and they have some exotic color. I like this guy who has the brightest blue eyes I've ever seen, they remind me of a wolf, and I'm like afraid to look him in the eyes! I don't want him to notice my eye color isn't as pretty as his. So, does eye color matter to you? Do you look for a certain color? I don't...But I've heard of people who do. Your answer below please. ;)

I like brown eyes. And the thing you said about exotic blue eyes should be referring to brown, since brown is actually more "exotic" or "ethnic" or whatever you want to call it. It really doesn't matter. I think lighter eyes do get more initial attention because they stand out, but brown eyes can be really pretty. In fact usually most girls around here seem to have blue eyes. I know this shouldn't be correct since brown is more common, but I hardly ever see a nice pair of brown eyes on a pretty girl. Not to say that pretty girls don't have brown eyes, but they must be taken or somewhere else. Green is generally awesome in my book. My favorite besides brown for sure.

Brown colored eyes is more of dominant trait than any other colored eyes so it can't be helped. Eye color matters to some degree but it isn't a major factor. If I liked the girl then I liked her. If she has really drawn eye-catching eyes then it'd be a bonus and probably would make me more into her. But maybe drawn eye-catching eyes is what made me attracted or noticed her in the first place. You just have to try harder and take risks unlike others who may have it more easier. Nonetheless eye color does not really matter.

Well it's kindda the first things someone notices about you. Like I'm crazy about green eyes bt I hate blue "most of it" and by far most of my crushes had brown eyes.

On the other hand I have green eyes and they kinda turn blue.. everybody think thet are so pretty but most of the guys I knew/dated paid more attention to my lips "it was kinda ewww but..." the thing is I don't think it's important that much and besides you gotta find your strongest feature. Maybe it's not your eyes but something else. And you can always wear contact lences althought I don't really encourage it :)

Well I am more attracted to guys with light eyes (blue, green), I find them more handsome, but it is just my taste, I love my green eyes too, lol, but I also know people with amazing brown eyes, actually my crush right now has brown eyes and I love them, don't be intimidated just be confident, remember is not only about what you have but how you use it ;) Hope this helped :)

I do have a specific eye color I like. I love brown eyes, believe it or not. I actually wish I had been born with brown eyes. I think my eyes are pretty anyway, but I really like dark brown eyes.

So I think you need to stop freaking out. Brown eyes are not ugly! What if he likes brown eyes? You never know... :)

My boyfriend have blue eyes and he always compliment me for my dark eyes. He likes them so much, that he wish our kids will inherit them. I also used to think that my eye color will make me a seconde choice, but he dated me even tho a blonde blue eyed girl wanted him, so I guess it’s not that important? I think the reason why he likes brown eyes more, is because his mom have brown eyes and he inherited his blue eyes from his father that he hates, and he came from a country ( he’s danish) where blue eyes aren’t rare, so even tho they are seen as pretty too, a brown eyed pretty girl can win against an average looking girl with blue eyes, unlike in the US.

Eye colour doesn't matter at all. Unless someone has strikingly blue eyes then I tend not to notice the colour. I couldn't tell you the colour of anyone's eyes that I know off the top of my head. I just had to go and check what colour mine were when I read this! (Green btw.) Brown eyes account for way over 50% of the world population.

eye color does not matter to me...it takes a lot more to make someone attractive or not attractive... I have no preference...and what's wrong with dark eyes? They are gorgeous too...and so are your eyes probably... so just relax and be confident.

I definitely LOVE my black eyes, they suit my face perfectly.

Eye color doesn't make a difference.

No guy is going to say I really like that girl but I wouldn't date her because I don't like her eye color.

I love brown eyes on girls just as much as any other color.

Look at Kim Kardashian, Jessica Alba, Nicole Scherzinger.

Some of the most beutiful women in the world and I don't think blue eyes would suite Kim K as much.

Plus also can't you girls use like different color shades of make up as they all go well with brown eyes?

I think that bright eye colours like blue or green are more interesting at first, but that browns usually have more depth. I don't think eye colour really matters, what you feel when you look into someone's eyes is so much more important.

Well...eye color can enhance a person's features, but I don't think that is the main thing people look for. just try to make your eyes pop, and you'll be okay. =)
