How much eye color matter to you?

I have done many polls according to which both men and women prefer light eyes. But how much it matter? I don't personally have preference.

When people say that they prefer blue eyes then do they mean they have strong preference or it don't really matter? Since someone with brown eyes can have extremely good facial features

Like would you give someone 1 more point if they had blue/green eyes

Would these girl look better. If she had blue/green eyes

Would these girl look worse if they had brown eyes

I really think it depends on the woman, but I might even prefer brown eyes in practice. I am not sure.

The thing is that when we're not talking about photos and celebrities and actually women I wanted to date when I was a bachelor, the ultimate quality that made a woman attractive to me that way is a very warm feeling when I looked at her and talked to her. I'm allergic to the cold feeling.

Brown eyes usually have a warmer look to them. They lack the striking and piercing quality of much lighter eyes with much greater contrast between the iris and pupil, but that piercing look often looks a bit "cold".

Mostly it's character at the end of the day that makes or breaks things for me and how well we connect in our conversations. Yet I might even have a slight preference for the warmer look of brown eyes, or at least eyes where the iris isn't so, so much lighter than the pupil.

Among the pictures you showed, the top one is the most appealing to me.

She looks very warm and friendly. I don't think she'd look better with lighter eyes. The last two pictures are thoroughly off-putting to me; they have such a cold gaze that's so uninviting, looks so unfriendly, although that might also be the result of their facial expression.

I do have a very soft spot for red-heads, but to me there's a dichotomy between what I find most visually interesting like in a movie vs. what type of woman I want to date. I've rarely actually gotten to talk to a red-head in person to know if I would actually want to date one. But I do like to see them in films, for example.

I think she's very attractive just in movies, especially in roles where she has to play a woman who's kind of mysterious, seductive, with her piercing blue eyes and dark eyebrows.

So I liked her a lot. But she isn't my type, or at least not the characters she tended to portray. In terms of women I actually wanted to date, I always preferred the least mysterious types of women: the open book type, warm and friendly, easy to get to know.

Like with the bottom two women you showed in the four pics, I think they would look great on a fragrance advertisement with their piercing eyes, maybe in a fairly desaturated photo with an overall cool tone. So I do think they look great but I just don't want to date them so much if they often have such a cold expression on their face.

My favorite combo is red hair blue eyes but that's rare so I'm not really picky. My main thing is a cute face so eye color is lower on the list.
