Do you ever feel self-conscious wearing tight clothes in public?

Since I was a teenager I have always liked to wear tight / form-fitting clothes in public to flaunt my curves, especially skinny jeans. As I've grown older, and gained some extra weight, I've noticed that I've become much more self-conscious about wearing tight clothes in public. More specifically, it sometimes feels like people stare at my thighs and butt and judge me for wearing skinny jeans. Is this normal? Do you girls (and guys) ever feel this way? Please comment :)

Sometimes, but mostly when I'm wearing actual tights (without shorts, I never wear them with), though I do often wear jeans that are pretty tight too.

When I wear actually tights in public, I feel more self-conscious, because I think some people will call me out for it - the only reason I wear them in public though, is when I'm going to the gym or have finished from the gym and are walking home, it's just that because I'm built slim, people probably don't look at me, thinking he goes to the gym, if they understand that I am, then that's fine.

I do also wear pretty tight jeans when I'm out sometimes, but I don't care too much then, I do sometimes think that some people may stare at me, but I never noticed it and therefore don't care and if it makes my legs look a bit bigger and my body look good, then I'm totally fine with that.

None of what I wear is tight enough to the point where you can see any bulge though, that's too much, so when I wear tights, I wear something with a pattern, like a camo design or something.

I just dont wear tight clothes, dont want a shirt pulled tight around my buf gut, so I geuss I'm selfconscious enough that I just dont do it.

Maybe they look at your thights and butt cause they think they look nice?

Of course I can see how feeling like eye candy isn't the best feeling either, I just meant it like they probably aren't judging you.
