I'm not self conscious at all about wearing fitted clothing, but it depends on the style of the article of clothing and where I'm wearing it to as well as my mood.
Sometimes when I dance, I wear baggy pants and a baggy tank top or t-shirt because I don't want people being distracted by my figure. I'll also put my hair up because I don't want hair flying everywhere to take away from the peice. I want people to focus on my movements, not the way my boobs look in the shirt. It's the same for some work environments I've been in; I wouldn't wear loose clothing when I worked at a gym because I didn't want to draw attention to my figure. There are sometimes where I don't want people to be focusing on my figure so I won't wear form fitted clothing. Not because I'm self conscious but because I don't wan that attention.
It's cool that you think it's cool, because most people act like they're going to just DIE if they have to look at chubby girls wearing certain things :P I personally love it, especially because I know what a person has to go through just to be able to do that.
For the most part I wear what I want. I used to be terribly self-conscious, though. I still feel it every once in a while, it's hard to completely get over.
I usually have to keep my outfit "professional" for school and work, though. For me it's usually flowy on top, fitted on bottom.

I don't mind wearing fitted clothes. For me it depends on what it is and where I wear it. Fitted dresses tend to make me feel self-conscious but if I want to wear it, I will. Jean and shirts are okay for me. I think that as long as someone is comfortable and isn't being too revealing, it doesn't matter how big or small they are when they wear fitted clothes.
What makes me sad is when I see people rudely commenting on other people of a different size wearing fitted clothes. They should mind their own buisness.
From how I see it, it's mostly the stomach which determines if you look good or not in certain types of clothing. FLAT tummies make almost anything look best!
So... as long as what I'm wearing doesn't look like I have a pop belly, it's perfect for me!
I've seen some very thick girls wearing fitted clothing who have flat stomachs... it's not bad.
Anyone (regardless of shape) with a pop belly should never wear tight fitted clothing... it's horrible.
It's not just heavy girls, I've seen skinny girls with fat stomachs. XD
there is a difference between fitted and tight, no one looks good in tight, you just look like you're cutting off circulation. fitted clothes always looks good no matter your size, it accents your strengths and plays off the weaknesses, skinny jeans and jeggings should be fell fitted but not tight, that would make them uncomfortable, and make it look like you're about to pop out the seem at any size.
Depends on what clothing size I am since my weight changes a lot. I'm typically a 6, I have been every size from a 2 to a 10, and I usually move between 4 and 8. I feel best about it when I am a 4 or a 6 and I'm a little iffy when I'm a 2 or an 8. I just won't when I'm a 10. Right now I'm a 6 but it's cold so I don't wear a lot of tight clothing right now.
The one mistake a girl somewhat on the heavier side can make is to wear large clothes because she feels self conscious. Then she will truly have no shape at all. I used to do that in my teens because I was self conscious. I wish I had known that tighter clothes always make women more attractive.
I do wear some tight clothing but there's also tight clothing that just doesn't look good on me because of my build. I'm not self concious about my body but I can look in a mirror and see if something looks good or not. I tend to prefer looser clothing though because I like to be comfortable.
I'm a big girl with an pear shape and I do care about how I look. Some girls don't know the difference between fitted and too tight. I love fitted jeans because they put my bum out there without making me look fatter or frumpy.
I like wearing tight clothing as long as my boobs or butt aren't out, and it's not TOO tight. I don't really have any fat to hide since I can't gain weight... And it accentuates my waist which is what I want.

erm, I do wear skinny jeans but not tight clothing really. I always wear like flowy kinda tops and like just comfy clothing. If it was up to me , id stay in pjs always :D

No one notices and it's just me who notices but I won't wear a bathing suit without shorts I've started to wear leggings haha but honesty now that I think they aren't fat because all of it is muscle and I have 14% body fat (an Olympian has about 4-9 and an average woman has 20-25%) I am 5'4" and 143lbs but it's all muscle haha
I lost a lot of weight so I'm pretty happy to show off my new body. I'll be even happier when I she'd this extra fat that's stubbornly hanging around and gain some muscles!!! >=)
I prefer fitted clothing. Except if it doesn't look flattering on me i.e. it makes me look fat, I refuse to wear it. And I don't like skinny jeans because I have thick legs..
I think it's awesome that they have the confidence in fact I envy them because they can do what I can't, even though I'm not overweight. They do however have to make do with what they have and I admire that.

I like fitted clothing much more than revealing clothing.
But I can't say I like the look of yoga pants and certain body con dresses. Those tend to look trashy to me so I'm not comfortable wearing them.

I'm comfortable wearing fitted clothing and I generally feel confident. However I find myself becoming uncomfortable wearing tight clothing in public because I don't like to be stared at and I suddenly become self conscious.

I'm really tiny, like a size double zero & I'm really short & skinny but I can't stand wearing tight clothes. I like wearing big baggy clothes, I guess because I'm not confident about my body, yet people tell me all the time that they'd kill for my body. But i do love wearing super tight jeans. Lol

Okay i am not conscious of wearing a tight dress. Not to be vain but i don't look that bad. But some times I'm conscious of wearing skinny jeans. (Which i wear a lot in the winter.) I'm a dancer and a cheer leader so i have very muscular legs so they aren't huge but idk lol
I am a big girl...i barely wear tightish clothing...if i do i honestly keep pulling on it... Example, i wear a dress, i continuously pull it down... Some big girls don't mind, others do...i get very insecure when wearing tight/ish clothing... I pretty much wear baggy clothes or high waisted shorts with a baggy shirt...
Personally, I'm pretty self conscious about wearing fitted clothing. I don't think I'm skinny enough which I'm sure is what a lot of girls would say in this situation. I can tell you if a girl doesn't want to wear a tight dress, stomach is too big. If a girl doesn't want to wear skinny jeans, thighs are too big. And yes, there are some girls who will wear what they want and be confident about it but you can't say that every girl you've seen dressing like that honestly looked good & attractive.

I don't think anyone should be self conscious. I'm not, wearing something tight or a little revealing is like saying "I've got this and you can't have it. Look but don't touch"

I am fan of skinny jeans but I would never wear them with some fitted shirt, I rather go for off shoulder loose sweater or t-shirt. I have BDD and I feel more comfortable if one clothing garment is loose :)

For my body type, at the moment, I wear fitted clothing on most days. It's not really tight persay, but well fitted. I actually began doing that so I could see which parts of my body I needed to drop a few pounds in or tone better.
