For me, thongs are the norm, both as underwear and swimwear. I like the way they look and feel on me, I especially like wearing high-cut thongs since they not only leave my cheeks bare but my hips as well and they make my legs look longer.

As far as thongs becoming the new norm for all females? I'd say no. Not every girl can pull them off as good as me or any other woman of my caliber. Hell, most women look like hot garbage in a thong.

In a lot of ways they already are. Seriously, where I am, if you're a girl and show up to the beach with anything bigger than a half-coverage bikini bottom, you're going to be seen as dowdy or trying to hide an unfit body. Beachwear is very unforgiving for girls. We have to have the body to pull off those styles or risk being labeled scared or fat.

Where I live they have been for at least a decade. All I have to do is look out of my balcony and see a sea of bubbly butts separated by a tiny piece of string.

I don't know if they should or not, but at the pools and beaches I go to, they are getting more common than other types.
