I have a unique situation which is that outside of sexual attraction I am not very good at discerning whether somebody or something is good looking or ugly so I wanted to know if I can improve my photogenic by trying to poise like a horse.

If I photograph myself from certain angles my face will look longer and other angles makes me look more angular or more dimensionally dramatic. Like a frontal face shot hides my bone dimensions because my face is mostly all the same colour.
