Girls, When wearing fishnets, should you wear socks as well?

Right, this ones for the girls. My girlfriend LOVES fishnet tights. She wears them loads with a skirt or a pair of denim shorts. What I questioned her about though, was why she doesn't wear socks with them. She says they are like normal tights, they do a pretty good job of stopping her feet rubbing in Converse, boots, vans etc. But surely her feet / tootsies get quite sweaty as I think it's basically like going barefoot? They don't seem to ever smell that bad though which I guess is lucky!
Settle an arguent people, should she had socks on, or are fishnets comfortable enough to wear without them in boots / converse / vans etc?

As for whether or not she "should" have wore socks with her fishnets, she should wear her clothes however she wants to wear them based on her own preferences. However, personally, I would never wear fishnets with socks. Socks are mainly worn with footwear associated with activities such as sneakers or work boots, or footwear meant to enclose the feet for long time periods such as winter boots to keep the feet warm. Fishnets are best worn with formal footwear that are not truly meant to be worn often or for long time periods such as flats or heels. In my opinion, wearing fishnets with anything, especially casual wear such as denim shorts, boots, canvas shoes, socks, or sneakers is tacky. I personally recommend wearing fishnets sockless with either flats or heels, a miniskirt, and a camisole top, preferably cropped, but of course different people have different views on fashion and to each their own. Also, I noticed you mentioned that her feet don't seem to smell "that bad" after wearing her fishnets in canvas shoes and/or boots. Her feet not smelling "that bad" still means that they kind of smell bad. If she continues to wear fishnets with casual footwear without socks, her feet would only sweat more, build up overtime in her shoes, and could make her feet smell even worse. Thus, if she really loves that style, I would recommend her to wear socks for hygienic purposes, but as I said in my first sentence, the choice is hers.

I personally found them very uncomfortable on the feet (in shoes when walking around) so I gave up and never bought them again. But I have sensitive feet I think.

Wearing socks with them would look absolutely dreadful. Unless they're completely hidden inside the shoe, then she might as well, it will definitely be more comfortable. Socks add a lot of cushioning and prevent blisters and feet getting calloused. (And I never found calloused feet to be less sore.)
