Is this Bikini acceptable for a family pool party?

I rarely go swimming so I generally just keep one bikini on hand for when I occasionally hit the beach with my girlfriends. I have a family reunion coming up and it’s a pool party. I’d rather not spend money I don’t have on another bikini that I will only use once. I was wondering if other girls would wear this to a family pool party, it’s a tad cheeky and I am on the fence with showing too much of my butt. What do you girls think, would you wear something like this around family?

So everyone is going to give their opinion. But what’s important is whether you wearing that bikini is acceptable or too revealing for YOUR family.

So, ask your mother & father if it will be ok for you to wear that bikini during the family reunion/at the family pool party—wear that bikini in front of them or send them the pics of you in it and see what they say.

From the front it’s fine but with family especially dad I’d probably wear different bikini bottoms just so there’s less cheek showing.

Or at least my family despite being rather progressive always told me off if my full coverage bikini bottoms would show my but a little whilst moving or something and to cover it

It's a normal bikini. Not risque at all. This isn't 1920. You look great and perfectly acceptable. And if you or anyone else is worried about perves, they'll ogle you no matter what you wear because you're a beautiful young woman. So don't worry about it.

Wear a sarong or maxi dress, maybe even a wrap. You NEVER wear show up in a bikini to a poolside. That's just fucking beggaring "sir can we use your pool?" behaviour.

Sure it may be your first time at a pool party, But the important word is "party" the pool is just an excuse to get the girls to wear something skimpy. You're not there to swim or get wet. Just drink. eat and mingle.

This bikini is not provocative at all, in my opinion. The fact is that you actually have an amazing body, and any kind of swimsuit you wear cannot hide it. And I don't see the reason to hide it, to be honest. If somebody is scandalized by this, would be a jealous woman or a man with a guilty conscience. For the rest of us, humans, you are a very attractive woman with a beautiful body and you shouldn't be ashamed of that.

It depends on the family. For most families, that is pushing it, but it is okay. However, for under $15 you can purchase the following on Amazon. com or something similar on eBay, and it will certainly last and look good enough for wearing one time.

on the other hand I can totally understand you feeling like it is a bit too revealing for family. And in that case I would suggest just bringing some cute shorts and a tee shirt to wear over it. Like no one needs to know that you are only wearing shorts and a tee for your family. And that way you can be totally comfy!

While that bikini is really pretty and you wear it well, I think you’re right that it’s too cheeky and sexy for family. I’d get a one piece at target that covers your bum. Sorry, I know that’s not what you want to hear, but a target swimsuit shouldn’t set you back too much. Hope your party is fun!

To me the bikini looks perfectly fine. The front is 100% modest in my opinion, and the back is a little cheeky, but hey, when have women's swimsuits NOT been cheeky? Even "full coverage" ones tend to show at least a little cheek. 😳

I've seen my own mom wear swimsuit bottoms as cheeky as those, and no one said anything. They're also similar to the kind I wear. And you look amazing, so why not? :)

I think if your family is conservative or religious in any way then it will be too much ass showing. Also, if you have any weird or pervy in laws etc that might stare and creep you out then you might want to factor that in as well. I agree with the girl that said get a cheap one piece at target.
