What are your thoughts on waist trainers?

I've been wanting one but my friend said they can be dangerous. What are your thoughts on them?

I'm thoroughly against them. At the extremities, they really do damage to organs squeezing the waist tight pushing squishy organs up or down in the process. A beautiful woman in my mind is a healthy one. My eyes might trick me sometimes but then I correct my eyes each time I learn. If she wants to get a slimmer waist, I have many suggestions on how to do that with corsets or waist trainers.

If it is more like a corset for occasional Funtime, shouldn't be a problem.

If it is one of the serious ones, used 23 hours a day, with the intent of an 18" wasp-waist after a year, I would not recommend them.

Flared mini-skirt adds to narrow waist illusion.

taking it slow and not just going as tight as you can, meh, its like a normal corset.

Do you want one for fashion or do you think eventually it’ll bring your waist in?
The latter is a bad idea they really aren’t good for your body if you go too small. It cinches your organs I’d recommend just naturally lose fat to bring in your waist

Hot hot hot. If you can find a local corset maker and have one custom-made for you.
I don't consider them dangerous. Many people wear them daily.

Why do you need to train your waist? Is it just too wild and untamed? What kind of tricks will you train it to do?

If you are going to go to an expert on this subject, that person should be a well-known expert. One wrong move can hurt you a lot. If you are going to buy a product related to the waist rather than an expert, as your friend said, it can be harmful. A few years ago I went to the doctor for back pain. I asked how it would be if I wore a corset. The doctor said that they did not recommend a corset, it weakened the muscles. Therefore, I do not recommend the product you want to buy, it may harm you.

My thought is absolutely no. Those cinch so tightly the organs have to become out of shape and extend where they shouldn't. Lots of possible damage.
