Its a 'modern' variant on a corset/girdle and in another form, a medical back brace.

A far better alternative is recreational belly dance lessons...
a little known fact is when the 82nd Airborne 'lifers' at Ft. Bragg began developing 'beer bellies'
for a time, (and to shame them) they were 'treated' to 5am Belly Dancing lessons when falling out for 5am Physical Training to tone and tighten their abdominal muscles!

If it weren't for the Christian Hypocrites, recreational belly dancing would be a FAR better
adolescent girl's junior high school gym class to help them foster self esteem, minimize body dismorphia and to burn off the 'baby fat' toning THEIR abdominals! Does FAR more than girl's track, softball or volleyball...

But it is not good for women. It may be suffocating. I would not prefer my girlfriend/SO to wear one. Definitely not. Not good for her, not gonna let her wear it.

Corset is not the option. It is simply compressing your internal organs, which if compressed too much, can begin internal bleeding, injuries and other problems too.

If she is with a belly, work on it naturally, but not with this superficial artificial thing.

Misconceptions upon misconceptions. Corsets are NOT dangerous for the internal organ so long as the woman doesn't cinch it horribly tight which most women don't. Corsets are known to fix bad posture and can fix other problems with the hips and spine. Many vintage women wear corsets and say how comfortable they are.

I've thought about getting one myself. Most of my guy friends said they didn't care one way or the other. They can be dangerous if you wear it to tight so if you do get one unsweetened how to use it correctly

It’s normal but sometimes it can hurt if you tie or adjust it too tight. Corsets and waist trainers are not meant to help be insecure with your stomach.

My wife wears them and wears corsets as well. They help her bad posture and allow her to have a nice slimming look to go with her Victorian dresses and 1950s dresses.

It hurts a man to work construction jobs for 20+ years. Guys often have permanent injuries but you don't hear guys whining about it. And I don't hear women complaining when they get to move into a new house. That's life.
