I once saw a comedy special where the comedian had face tattoos and he opened with the joke, "I know many of you are looking at me right now and thinking to yourselves, 'clearly he's made poor life choices'...annnd you'd be right." In reality though, you do what you want with your own body. It's yours. Get a face tattoo, don't, but if you do, you can't fool yourself into thinking that people won't jump to even more automatic assumptions about you, then they do most or that it will be easy to find a "typical" mainstream job or that it may be harder to do things like date. As with anything in life, do what you want, but there are often consequences for those actions.

I think they are as valid as any other personal statement. But, it's a decision to make with caution. It's not illegal in the UK (Not sure about elsewhere) to decide to not hire, or dismiss an employee because of tattoos or piercings. This is commonplace in corporate or commercial environments and to a lesser degree elsewhere. Personally, I think a lack of protection for style decisions is outdated, but it's not likely to change anything. Also, it has to be understood, and anticipated that it will cause reactions in people, some of them positive and unfortunately, many unpositive. We're still not out of the era of people who were brought up to believe that visible tattoos are wrong, and on the face, neck and hands is especially prone to unwanted opinion and consequent troubles. I say you do you, it's your face, it's not harming anyone, hopefully including yourself and it's another freedom of expression that can only inevitably create a more accepting society.
I don't like them. But it has more to do with my issues with tattoos in general. I think as tattoos have become more socially acceptable the actual art and designs of tattoos has quickly became a case of copy and repeat. It's like when tribal tattoos and Chinese symbols/writing where the tattoos to have. People need to come up with more original ideas.
Extreme turnoff but some neck tattoos are hot if small. I used to want one
And small stuff like this would kinda be hot on a guy

How I feel about it

I never judge someone on their own art. It’s not my place.
There was a man at the local tire store who had his throat heavily slit eat to ear and survived, also cut across his cheek. Nicest guy. I asked him if he ever thought of covering it with a tattoo. He said he survived and wasn’t going to hide it.I think it highly depends on the face tattoos.
Some are just facepalm cringe. And some are really cool or nice.
If those are yours, I'd say I don't like them at all. I don't hate them, but they would make me not want to know you or have you talk to me. I'd outright avoid you.
Just terrible choice tats.a clear and visible sign of mental illness and/or insecurities and self hate. Also really ugly and childish, ngl. The only time I'd be able to take such people seriously is if they were coming at me with a prison shank. Otherwise they're basically just clowns.
It would limit where somebody can go and what kind of people one can connect with. Most people assume the worst: that someone is an antisocial and uneducated and don't do much to benefit society. I'm a contractor/builder, and even most contractors wouldn't be comfortable hiring someone covered in face tattoos, and wouldn't they'd be a hard working, ambitious worker.
As someone that loves tattoos and has them, I absolutely hate when people tattoo their face. Like you have an entire body full of skin! Why on earth would you choose to stamp your face for life? I hate them.
They are for inmates in prison so they can look tough, or for junkie bums at the gas station. Anybody who has one usually thinks they are a lot tougher than they really are, or wants to look a lot tougher than they really are. A few years back, a guy with face tattoos spit on me at the gas station because I wouldn't fight him. In about 5 seconds he was screaming for help as I was slamming his head into the concrete driveway.
I like them, it let's me know this person has issues right up front so I don't make a mistake with them. Seriously, it says - I don't ever want to have a good job and I want people to discriminate against me so I can most likely be poor for the rest of my life so i can look cute. Real smart
They are best done in 1 style (tribal, war paint, animal print, armor, mechanical... etc), than just covered in random BS images & text. Overall it's best to keep the face blank of tattoos. The other option i recommend is like makeup tattoos such as eyebrows or beard to make them look fuller and help trim along the jawline
Yesh don't like them personally, and while I try not to be judgmental, the few people I've known that had them were basically attention seeking whore mungers, but if its what you like then its none of my business.
Nature is above god.
Your looks won't even matter 10 years down the line.
At old age, you'll look even more ugly with those piercings and tattoos.
Why go for temporary happiness?I love a man with tasteful tatts but sorry I couldn't date someone with them on their face. I really don't like when they're on the face. I wanna see my mans pure naked face.
I personally have 8 tattoos and think face tattoos are unattractive and take away from someone’s beauty in their face.
Horrific.
They make a natural, attractive person look more like a monster.
Back in the dating days they would be a 100% instant dating deal breaker.- s
Small ones like dots under the eyes or a simple line under the mouth is cool, but large text across the jaw line or big tattoos that cover half the face are really bad looking.
Ironically I have dated 3 guys with face tattoos yet I'm not attracted to face tattoos again it's ironic. by the way I like your eyes, sorry but I love green eyes (I will see myself to the door)
It's a very interesting and sometimes pretty way to let people know that you don't want to work anywhere but a factory floor.
I don't like them. They're fine on other parts of the body, but not the face. Plus, if you're trying to find jobs and going for job interviews then it might be an issue.
there's only 2 groups of people with face tattoos.
1. Idiots
2. Former idiots filled with regrets.
