Question to tattoo lovers: Which tattoos do you like and which one do you dislike?
To tattoo dislikers/haters: If you had to get a tattoo, which one would you choose then?
I want several tattoos, each of them meaning something to me.
On my forearms I want the words "Solve" and "Coagula". It's all about deconstructing things to understand them and then putting them together to see the whole picture. i.pinimg.com/.../...51d42663b824c2bbe3c7d653e5.jpg
I also want reptilian scales on my shoulder that go down to my elbow. On which arm I haven't decided.

Something similar but higher up and more consistent.
I want a tattoo on my pectoral of Ares (helmet) in front of a shield and in the shield the words "war is all around us, it is us, we go to war trying to deny it, instead, embrace it, then at least one war will cease". A sword and spear will go through the shield.
I also want the Sith code on my side.

On my back.
Skeletor logo on my shoulder.

I do think they can look nice if they're done right, but I personally wouldn't get them, as I'd probably get bored of the design and would want to change it around all the time - unless you can change them instantly, whenever you want, including the option of getting rid, then I'd do it, but until then, I'd say no.
I agree with another user about getting them on the private area, as it would be a turn off, as well as any on the face.
A tattoo I think that can be useful, is when someone's skin is discolored and has white patches all over it or in most areas and then you tattoo over it, your natural skin-tone colour.
Depends on the tattoo. I hate tattoos on genitals or nipples and they gross me out. Same with face tattoos
Also the color. I mostly like the black ones but I like the colored ones too. Also the meaning doesn't matter. You can get a tattoo without a reason. But I hate the tattood with nude women or sexual things. Or the guys who have all their ex-es name tattooed.
I have a friend that finished the highschool and tattooes the exams results. After a day , the test were recorrected and the results changed. He tattooes a line over the first numbers and tattooed the new one. I think it was kinda stupit but its funny.
I posted a question about tattoos a while ago. I was totally against them before, but now I wouldn't mind something small on my finger or something similar. This is what I have in mind. Otherwise, I don't really like tattoos that are thick, obvious, obnoxious and screaming out for attention.
You're Welcome.

I don't like tattoos. I think they make people look ugly and a little trashy. I've never understood why people want to make themselves "prettier" with tattoos. I think the human body is pretty as it is. I really don't like this obsession with self-optimization that we have in our modern society.
If I had to get a tattoo, I would get something small and unobtrusive. Something that is timeless and that I won't regret 10 years down the road. No names of any people.
I like tattoos when I see on others but I won't get one for myself... and that's because my opinions and preferances change considerably as I grow older. I tend to regret things a lot afterwards and I don't want to be stuck with that thing on me for entire life
But if I really were to get a tattoo it would be probably on the collarbone/neck/jaw region or the wrist and it will be some words of wisdom.
Depends... If it's like a cool one that's relatively small? I like how those look-- but I wouldn't get one. Mostly because I'm trying to be Catholic. And I hate the idea of a stranger sewing ink inyo my flesh...
If I had to get one? I'd probably get a smiley face on the back of my hand or something lol.
I am a bit ambivilant towards them
Unlike them in theory but it has become so common place and ordinary it kind of detracts from it a bit
It is like the common way to be individualistic in the same exact way everyone is now
So they become a little bland
I love tattoos. Have one myself. I like meaningful tattoos for myself. Canβt just get anything. However, I love artistic , abstract, superhero etc tattoos on others. They are so amazing in detail and shows off the artists skill.
I hate them. I find them gross and incredibly unattractive. Deal breaker in relationships.
It is like an alien entity living in someone's skin, some manmade substance just imbedded in their flesh. Yuck.
i dislike them for myself so i have none but if someone likes them on themselves it doesn't bother me in the slightes and wouldn't make me not want to know them
Tattooes are just not flattering and I honestly hate them. It's a deal breaker for me. And Id get the flower because it seems the cheapest and easiest to get removed
I like looking at them but not on myself. Why? Firstly, I have a very sensitive skin so I worry a lot if there will be complications or allergic reactions that might occur if I give it a try. And secondly, I easily lose interest, so I might regret it later.
I generally like tattoos, but I think ones on the neck (except on the back under the hairline) for example are ugly, no matter the design. And I think tattoos should have a meaning, otherwise it's kind of pointless to get them
Depends, there's some I like and think it look cool and others I really don't like.
I like tribal tattoo placed on upper arms.
I also like religious tattoo (a cross).
But if not I'm not a fan of them in general.
I like seeing good tattoos, I lately even thought about getting a shoulder one. can't really decide what to do tho 🤷
Which types do you like and dislike?
I wanna get one, but a small one that says i am sophisticated and sweet and smart.
I don't mind them as long as they're decent and look good. I like the tattoos that have a deeper meaning to the person who got it...
Small cute tattoos are good big ugly ones like that are not
It makes mate selection easy. You can read the label before you try.
I love most but I'm not a fan of multiple different themed/style ones close together that just looks bad
I have one and want more. I appreciate them from an artistic perspective as you can tell a lot about person by the style and quality. Even placement.
I have like five tattoos. All mean something to me and not got them for other people
I prefer the way skin naturally looks. When I kiss someone's shoulder I don't want to kiss a tattoo of Satan or a skull and bones haha
