There are two things you're missing, here: first is that men are a lot less picky than women when it comes to deciding what constitutes attractiveness. That may seem counterintuitive, given how it's all so many men talk about (and of course I'm generalizing), but it's true. The importance placed on that attractiveness is higher, but the threshold for qualifying is lower.
Put another way, men don't really have "types" the way that women do; a guy is likely to find certain traits more attractive than others, but they're not flat-out requirements. This is due to natural selection: too little competition for mates and the genetic stock suffers; too much, and the society falls apart, either due to a low birth rate, or to its members tearing each other to bits. Men, as the risk takers with a bizarre-for-apes level of cooperation between adult males, have much higher selection pressure, so it makes sense for them to be less discriminating. Women, meanwhile- well, if you and I are paleolithic women and we both like chiseled, burly ultra-hunks, we're bound to fall to competing. No problem if it's just the two of us, but if it's EVERY woman, we're in trouble. On the other hand, if you're in the ultra-hunks, but I'm into bookish nerds (not that books existed back then, but you know what I mean), then we'll be fine, since we're not struggling against each other. Unless your boyfriend shoves mine into a paleolithic locker, because YOUR imaginary caveman boyfriend is a jerk.
Anyway, bottom line- men see LOTS of different types of women as attractive. For the most part, it's more of a "less or more" than a "yes or no". The second thing is that very little of women's fashion, and almost none of what marketing departments base their depictions on, is based around the ideas of people who are attracted to women. You look at the desginers and directors, and it's all "gay guy, gay guy, gay guy, straight woman, gay guy...".
A third thing: what catches the eye is not necessarily what holds it, even in terms of pure assessment of someone's looks. There's a reason why the average American female porn star is only a B cup; lower than average in the US.
"Why are VS models held as the most beautiful women in the world if most men find curves attractive?" If. . . that's the important word in that question. Perhaps all the fuss and hype about women with curves is just media noise that really doesn't reflect the actual preferences of real men.
Got it. Yeah I am really slender too and people are ruthless with shaming skinny women. Even if they’re healthy and perfectly sexy and fit. I’m told things like “I can see through you” or “you look like a child not a woman” or “all that food is for YOU?” , but DO NOT say anything at all about overweight or obese women.
I have a very strong preference for slender women.
ALL of those models are bigger than B cups. True B cups are way smaller than society thinks. I am a bra fitter.

Plenty of guys do, probably a majority. But their opinions aren't exciting as they're the status quo, and it's considered bigoted by many institutions that govern what is mainstream so you won't hear about it a lot.
I feel annoyed with this whole every size is beautiful campaign going on. Like yeah everyone is beautiful in their unique ways but that doesn’t mean they’re a model.
Yeah, I see where you're coming from. In some ways I agree. But I also think it's unfair for one group of people to gatekeep what is or isn't a model, or gatekeep who can and can't be.
Like if the roles were switched and larger people said "skinny people can't be models," I'd imagine people like you and I would think it's wrong.
VS has been advertising with greater size beautiful women. They have models for their plus size too not just B size.
I hate curves. I think the VS models look ok but not hot.
I like the slim girl and so do many guys I know.
Its just my preference.
