One of my friends with benefits now specializes in Family Law. She started her career in the Commonwealths Attorney's Office. When she is in my home working she has a large teeshirt on wearing shorts. As far as in the office or in court? Take a clue from this clip from the movie "My Cousin Vinny"! YES, a judge might well toss an attorney OUT of their courtroom for not being in a suit! Or in the case of a female business attire!
https://www.youtube.com/embed/YLValMc9XjULaw is quite a traditional career in general so half of those would be inappropriate. (Law student here) they aren’t revealing at all but when it comes to court I’d stay away from and shoulder showing, bright colours, and anything too casual. You generally don’t want it look too fashionably and stand out. Court is not the place and law is not like other fields. Add a blazer, pencil skirt, appropriate heels or flats and button up shirt not too tight and no cleave showing for women. For men the typical suit and tie look. Make sure it fits well too
I don't think showing off shoulders at work looks very professional. I would personally put a blazer on top.
Agreed.
The women in the white shirt, I've seen prosecutors wear basically the same outfit, usually with a cardigan but some of those courtrooms get hot so I can understand why it's excusable. The woman wearing yellow is walking on a thin line lol, she definitely doesn't look like someone I would want to talk to after finding out the court plans to fuck me up the ass. So maybe not the best solicitor outfit to project confidence and experience.

Which court?

The County Court
The Family Court
The Magistrates Court
The Crown Court
The High Court
The Court of Appeal
The UK Supreme Court
for the first couple maybe, the rest no chance.

I once got caught in a sudden downpour going from my car into court, with my hair absolutely soaking wet and with no time to dry it... I can still "feel" the looks I got from everyone present.
The judge however was extremely understanding when I offered my most sincere apologies for my unprofessional appearance.
It's the way of the world now. Dress code only affects men so far. Men must wear the monkey suit and tie. Any one else can show up in anything they please. Who the fuck really cares? It just further shows the insanity of the left at the same time it makes men seem that much more intelligent and above them.
No chance.
Dark suit for a guy
I suppose for a woman it would be what she would wear to the office.
the ones for men are fine i believe, but it looks a bit casual for the women.
The guys' outfits are appropriate, the gals' outfits should stay at the country club, a suit or conservative dress woul be appropriate for court.
Does being well dressed automatically make you honest?
No wonder so many of us fall victim to well dress scammers.
No bra, nipples poking out, will definitely persuade the judge in your favor
They'd be appropriate if you add a blazer or suit jacket.
I would imaging that each Judge has their own standards and I is better, not to test the Judge's standards.
Totally inappropriate.
The girl with skin on shoulder would be one
No, wear a blazer.
That’s fine
Not appropriate
