Is this good enough to wear to court?

I'll admit it... I usually dress like a slob. But I'll have to go to court soon, several times actually. I'm wondering if this sounds good enough to wear?

I bought a nice pair of jeans, not baggy or ripped or anything. And I also bought a nice blue short sleeve shirt that you know has a collar and buttons up.

I usually only dress nice on rare occasions.

In what capacity? If you are an attorney or a defendant or the claimant, do NOT wear jeans.

You don't want the judge making assumptions about you. Or taking jeans as a sign you don't take the proceedings seriously or as a sign of disrespect.

At least wear dress slacks but try for a jacket and tie or a suit.

Believe you me jeans is an absolute no no.

A nice pair of black trousers, nicely pressed, with black socks and clean/polished black shoes.

The blue shirt you can certainly wear, providing it's been ironed.
