Bridesmaid wearing a white dress to a wedding?

This topic is controversial. Personally, i don't give a shit what people wear. It's a minor faux pass that at the end of the day is harming nobody, including the bride.

What do you think? Dresses in question:

I think it's inappropriate and/or taboo, regardless of what the bride says.

If the bride thinks it's okay, then it's fine to wear.

I don't know.

I can't possibly imagine many brides wanting or agreeing to this, I know I most certainly couldn't/didn't.

bride yes if she's a virgin offwhite if she's not a virgin and bridesmaids completely different color like blue or pink or yellow or something other then white or offwhite

Unless the bride/groom etc state that white is acceptable to also wear, just don't. it also doesn't hurt anybody attending the wedding to avoid one colour XD

In our culture we traditionally wear red on weddings and I wouldn't want my bridesmaids to wear red as well.

I say no. The bride is the only one supposed to be wearing white. That being said the bride can choose whatever color she wants her bridesmaids to be wearing. It's her wedding.

Did you know if the bride wears black... it's a forced wedding. Seriously, go look at kane and litas wedding from about 15 or so years ago. She wore black because she didn't want to marry him but had to because he was the father
