What's the point of hiding your face in nudes with tattoos?

Most people that have tattos have tattoos that are fairly distinctive to themselves. In other words if you find a group of people with tattoos, likely ALL will be different.
So if a person with tattoos takes nudes, it seems pointless to hide their face, as the tattoos are just as much an identifier.

They want to maintain plausible deny ability, because unless you are really familiar with their tats... they can deny it later to people. And honestly a lot of these tats these day are not all that original. People years from now are not going to see some old post and match it up to a person years or decades later after the fact. Not people that they really care about, or might come back later to hurt them.

Insofar as the location of the tattoos, they are. My cousin is a tattoo artist, and while she has given identical tattoos, none were on the same place on the body.

@Twalli I agree, but the reality is that people post these types of photos usually are not concerned about the people they know knowing who they are. And complete strangers are far and above less likely to remember or recognize a tattoo from a photo posted on social media that they may vaguely remember weeks, months or years after the fact.

There are so many thousands and thousands of these photos being posted by random people daily. People who troll these types posts don't even pay attention or don't give a shit about the tattoos. The person posting them doesn't really care they just want attention or to build up followers from randoms that provide them with some sense of validation.

Back in the day tattoos were far more distinctive and got a lot more attention, but today everyone has ink somewhere and fewer and fewer people really pay attention to them or care.

Yea but its just a lot of unnecessary work. Makes more sense to invite the person over and see em nude in person
