Is it acceptable fashion-wise to wear color matching dress, handbag and shoes?

The shoes, sneakers are more shades but when put together it's really a monochrome look but not really on purpose.

I can't find a straight answer. Usually there's a rule of three but that's different, it means you wear MAX three colors at once.
