Also it is 4 sizes too big I have it pulled all the way but still feels like a shield. So if it fits funny but is otherwise interesting, I can hem it. There are certain things that can be adjusted which is different than it being entirely unbecoming on me. I do think it’s cool in its own way, so I may give it away but I will not throw it out. The sneakers are necessary atm bc of a small injury —they are not generally to be considered as part of the outfit 😛

I'd call it a peasant dress. The long, free-flowing skirt looks comfortable and a bit whimsical or free spirited. And I particularly like the bodice thing. All the buttons on it look old timey. And is that embroidery?

The designs on the fabric are great.

I get late 19th-early 20th century, European vibe. How about an outfit for an archaeological expedition in the 1920s? Or it could have been worn by a lady settler in the American west in the 1895.
Hippie girls would love it.

It does! I think there are five solid features That reminds me of completely diff time period and cultures which I think so part of why I was drawn to it. I sort of like that it can be many times and nine of them at all. You can’t really be middling with it you either embrace it or just don’t wear it l so I’m ignoring whatever negative impression I had before giving them time to set and just appreciating it’s uniqueness.

Oh I don’t think another one of this exists 😂 that was kind of why I liked it but I wouldn’t go looking for another. It must be real old—I got it at a vintage shop.

Yeah I mostly like the lace up and the fit ( if it was better form fitting) the color and the design is my least favorite but I love full length lace up enclosures and they are rare so for 2 bucks YES😊

Vivant the dress reminds me of those from the late 1800s/early 1900s. It seems to me to fit you really well, even though I read in your update that it's too big. For me, the color of the dress clashes with the color of your hair.
