Does this ditsy dress fit me well or should I size down?

I love the print and the style, but the dress is a size S and I'm in between XS and S, should I order the smaller one or is this S one looking fine on me?

- What about the straps, should I go for thicker ones instead?
- Do you think I could wear this dress to a date?
- And what would you do with the hair — an updo or keep it down and loose?

I never wore flowery, ditsy or whatever dresses before so I'm not used to this fit.

I likethe volume the hair has and think the strap size is perfect, I'd love to see a woman wear something like this on a date. The size already seems fairly snug around the bust and hips (and I will admit that I know very little about dresses) so I imagine downsizing would just be uncomfortable, no?

I guess I'm just not used to a dress fitting right away, I often times have to exchange it for a different size. What bothers is me that at the back it's a bit bigger but I think a smaller size could be too small for my chest.

I think it looks good on you! i dont think you need a xs, it would be too showing then. Straps also look good, your bum "looks bigger" because of the pattern
as for hair i say down if your on a date, up if your just wearing it to meet friends or such!

Sizing often varies (and changes) but usually I fit into the S category. Though if I'm to be specific because of my chest measurement I should be wearing an M or L size but that would look really off.

But yeah, XL could be very big but the sizes look different on every body type/shape.
