Do espadrilles sandals "work" all year around?

I love espadrilles, yet I understand they usually are
market" during spring-summer times. Yet I live in a tropical weather Florida Miami, atmosphere all year around. Therefore, I've been thinking to either buy or not these. What are your thoughts?
