Do any of y’all do cosplay?

So I love cosplay to the degree that I like and fallow a ton of cosplayers but I have never really had the time or interest to get in to it myself. I have done a bit of costuming in my past though for school drama and what not so I might still some day if I find the right girl… but I’m curious if anyone here is in to it?

Or if you have people in your family who are?

I love Cosplay. I would love to have a high quality costume - movie quality maybe. Darth Vader, Kylo Ren. Maybe something where I'm unrecognizable.

I have done two or three conventions. I'd like to get a booth for my art, but I don't have enough room or money to print and store all these prints... I don't know if there's an interest in anything I'd try to sell. Paying 1000+ for a booth when I may (or may not) sell some art seems like I would lose a lot of money to try it. If I did, I WOULD love to dress up for that.

But, back to Cosplay - for Halloween, I've done a few different nerdy costumes, and I have done two or three small comic/science fiction conventions. Luckily, I'd go with friends I could trust to dress up, so I'm not totally alone.

I dressed as Doug Rattmann (Portal), I went as a Splicer from Bioshock, I went as Marty McFly Jr. (Back to the Future 2), and Tony Stark. Really simple, inexpensive costumes. Mostly stuff I already have.

I would love to dress up for more franchise movies, but they look down on that around here, and people like to ruin that sort of thing, so I'll just usually wear a t-shirt related to the movie, maybe a pin or something small like that.

I learned at an early age with "costume parties" to not dress up too elaborately. If everyone is "too cool" to dress up - with some simple, quick changes, I can look like I just came from work.

My family arranges comicon every year, it's funny I finally went, and found out friends of mine have been working at comicon for years with my family members (uncle's and cousins) and they didn't know we were related and my family didn't know these were my friends.

I know almost everyone who set up comicon. I don't cosplay myself however. My cousin had a Star wars themed wedding, I almost came as Chewbacca because.. at six two I was the only one SHORT enough for the costume (he's like 6'10")

My friends cosplay and I usually end up tagging along with a backpack full of wallets, water bottles and gear lol. They make their own cosplay and they’re all insanely talented but I can’t afford/can’t imagine spending that much money on a costume lol. But it is really cool seeing peoples faces light up when the see it

Ya did a few times and do it when got the time to put into it
I do prefer Cosplay to the charcter it self not so much a sluty version of them as some do, except if the character it self is sluty :) obviely as then its doing them
And I mean full Cosplay into the character

No that is cool! I most of the girls I fallow tend to stick to the characters as well but then they just find characters they can show off with. I think the only time I have seen them get off tue characters was a couple of times a few girls did female representations of the male characters. But yeah! I prefer the people who do real stuff! Well done!

Personally its not something I get into or truly understand, but at the same time I see nothing wrong with it. Its fun to indulge our fantasies... with pics you posted I would be very indulgent with the possibilities.

the reality is that outside of the internet and Only fans, you do not see overly sexual cosplay costumes.
