I assume you mean hiring someone to custom build it for you, rather than building it yourself (either literally building it yourself or acting as the general contractor).
You need to check prices locally because prices can vary quite a bit from one location to another.
The price of the lot can also vary, especially if it's a large lot. A lot just big enough for that house in one location might be 35-50K. A larger lot in a different place might be over a million.
Materials right now are very high. Prices on a lot of building materials have more than doubled in the last couple of years. They might eventually come down, but I don't know when. Some people are delaying projects now, hoping prices will go back down.
Labor prices have also gone up quite a bit, especially in some places. Too many people go to college these days so there aren't enough people to actually do the work. That's driving prices up.
When I was framing houses I framed one a little larger than that, but I have no idea how much the total house cost - plus that was a long time ago. It was 6000 sq ft. It was single story so the footprint was very big. It took a crew of five guys a month to frame it. That's a lot of labor cost just for the framing. Framing is the most labor intensive part.
First land costs can vary massively
The location will affect the builders fee
The materials are more expensive than before the pandemic
N. b. the Sopranos main house was apparently 6,000 sqft and recently left the market (unsold) at a few million dollars but that was a million over standard for the area because of the provenance... no marble like those pictures show however
I work in construction (obviously, the business/office end). The cost to build will depend on the quality of materials, cost of the site, cost of labor, and other things like how flexible/reasonable building inspectors and the like are. All of which vary considerably from place to place. I live in Atlanta, Georgia in the US and I’d guess you be looking at around $1.5 to $2 million.
Depends where you’re trying to build it first of all.

That's a 2 to 5 million dollar home depending on the location and local market. But it depends i mean the one in the picture has a lot of custom work, you could do it cheaper, but still just a million dollar home.
Building prices for residential are about $200 per square foot right now. So ruffly a million bucks for the building plus whatever the land cost where you live.
I work on a ratio per m2... mid level renovation €800/m top level renovation €1,500/m. new build starts about €2,000/m for something decent but there are ways to make budget projects look nice.
I'd have to agree with Redstang88 .
In our area, price tags range $200-320+/SF, so depending on the finish (and that sample shown IS a HIGH END finish), you could be looking at $1,710,000 or even more.
It all depends on the location, materials used, whether you want landscaping as well, etc. As a general estimate, I'd say that you're looking at a couple million.
Depends where you build it. If you build it in the USA, expect to spend close to $3 million depending on the interior. If you build it in Costa Rica, or Portugal, a lot less!
that looks like in the $1.5 to 2 million territory considering sq/foot costs. Size isn't that far from my realtor's house from the outside.
In my area 2.75-3.15 million would be very acceptable.
I’ve heard quotes are around $300/ft now, so 1.5 million ish. A million at least
Apparently it’s closer to $400/ft now, so likely over 2 million
Before the pandemic it would have cost you 3.5 million dollars. To have it built today it would cost you 5.7 million dollars. The cost of building materials have gone up considerably.
About $300.00/sq. ft. plus the cost of gge land.
In Hawaii, I’d say $5 million for the house. The land would be $2 million to $15 million an acre depending on where you built it.
In this size range the actual price is not longer relevant.
It depends on the location, the materials that are used and how much, is it water front or not, acreage of land.
It depends. Where are you building it? Who is doing the labor? What are the prices of materials used to build it?
Probably a few million and the property tax every year will be super high. Thank Joe Biden for that too.
I’m not sure that looks like $1 million house to me in Miami
There's a lot of factors to determining a cost like that
depends on many things, in what country? in what city? in US Dollars, German Marks, Russian Rupples?
200,000. Approximately
In Africa maybe….
Eh probly like five bucks
5,345 sqft time $200/sqft = $1,690,000
$5 mil finished out like that.
1.5 million in North Carolina
Around here it would be over a million dollars.
How muck to heat, water and electricity
238 dollars sq ft to 275 sq ft plus 62000 a months extra cost
1.24 million to 1.75 millions dollars plus 60000 on electricity plus how fees high as 25000 months
That style is horrendous
over a million
Depends on a lot of variables
$2.5m
millions
About 700k
95,000 dollars.
$95K is cheap for you?
Where the hell do you think you could build that for under 100 grand? Raw materials alone would be 5x that much in North America
I’ve done it before bro.
Not a chance
