Am I the only one who prefers the Korean Beauty Standards over American beauty standards?

Korean Beauty : pale, flawless skin, double eyelids, straight thick eyebrows, slim nose and high nose bridge, smooth small cheekbones, oval slim jawline, thin upper lip, narrow small chin.

American Beauty: tanned skin, arched eyebrows, narrow nose, prominent cheekbones, full lips, defined jawline.

Korean beauty only became trendy in these recent years because of KPop. That’s why all of a sudden it’s the next best thing! Meanwhile, it has always been there. But it doesn’t make it more elegant and classier than the rest. They all have standards to meet. 🫤 However, French skincare has been there for years and still kick ass! They don’t need to make trends for people to use them. That’s classy.

I don't know that I prefer one look over the other. However, I prefer watching Korean movies and dramas rather than USA movies and I prefer KPop to American singers. Of course that only applies to modern USA movies and songs. Many older USA songs and movies are outstanding.

I have been to both countries, seen "normal" Korean and American - I prefer American.

Korean "look" seems fake, even the normal people because beauty is in their culture. They really care about their looks. Almost every commercial street has a store that sells beauty products.

I am not generalizing, it's just what I observed.

Really when you give examples for American and Korean beauty standards, it seems like there are more in Korean beauty standards than the American one.
