Do you agree with the current standard for female beauty in the US?

A quick Google search indicates that the current standard of beauty for a woman in the US, with slight variances according to region, is the following:

-Body: A curvy figure with a small waist, large bust and butt, and thick thighs
-Skin: Tanned or light skin
-Hair: Long hair
-Features: Big eyes and plumpy lips
-Other: Flawless skin, makeup, working out, and being young

When I hear the word curvy from a woman I think fat. That's further backed up by the thick thighs you're talking about... Most guys aren't really into fat chicks. Some guys like bubble buts on skinny girls, some like big ol' titties others don't. As to skin color, in the U. S. White women would be considered most attractive, because the population is mostly White. 90%+ of people are typically most highly attracted to their own race and culture. In White culture, long hair on women is a feminine characteristic thus attractive to White men on average. I think eyes and lips have to be proportional to the face. Your face is a big deal when attracting people. When I hear plump limps I either think of all the lip injection shit that looks terribly ridiculous or Black women who tend to rank lowest in attractiveness in polls. That's not a good look. Skin doesn't have to be flawless. Makeup is gross, and generally the more a girl uses, the uglier you know she is. The thing is, you can't change your bone structure, so when you layer on makeup, if you were ugly you still are, but now you just look like a tranny with all the fake on and nothing turns a straight man off quicker than a dick in a dress even if you're not really packing. Just the though that you might be concealed carrying makes people think twice. Being fit and youthful generally helps with attractiveness, but a young fit ugly women is still ugly at the end of the day. Unless you own a paper bag company, you're going to pass on her because you can't get paper bags at the grocery store anymore and when you use the plastic ones you have to get rid of a body in the morning. It's just not worth it...

I'll give that description 50% at best.

This is the kind of stuff that many women believe and try to look like that. But what the media and fashion industry tell you is not what normal guys think is beauty. That has always been true, not just the current "beauty standard".

Just earlier this evening I made a comment about the girl who served us ice cream. I commented that shortish hair was coming back. Her hair was less than shoulder length, and it looked good. She framed her face nicely, which is difficult to do with long hair.

The fake big lips? Yuck. Whoever thought that actually looked good, or was what guys wanted? SOME guys might like it, but mostly it looks terrible.

Big ass? Same as fat lips. SOME guys might like it, but I think most think it looks terrible.

Flawless skin? I agree on that. It's always been true. It's a sign of good health, which is always attractive.

Tanned or light skin? Doesn't that cover everything? Good healthy complexion is more important than color.

Big breasts? Again, some guys like it. Some guys REALLY like it. But this is probably the biggest misconception women have - that most guys love big tits. Wrong.

Thick thighs? Too hard to define. That is a common euphemism for fat thighs.

Curvy? Also a common euphemism for fat. I personally don't like hourglass. I don't like straight lines either. Something in between is good.

Big eyes? OK, I'll agree. Maybe. It depends on the face, but big eyes can sometimes be very alluring.

We are more body accepting than we were 100 years ago. Now with that being said a celebrity / movie star / singer being featured having a curvy figure, revealing cleavage, feminine look, etc. is just something that sells. People will disagree, but should note that sex sells.

We can argue the science, the reasons, the brain chemicals, etc. however the bottom line is this: The majority of men find it attractive, whether black or white or hispanic or Asian, this specific body type sells so, there will be a demand for that.

I think the trend about what constitutes female beauty in America has been politically driven for the past decade or two. They're trying to force an admiration of certain body types into the culture using propaganda. The body types they want you to worship are most commonly associated with a certain race or a certain unhealthy lifestyle. Big butts, thick thighs, etc. ... Or just plain "plus size."

It seems to me to be more associated with a racist political agenda then with beauty. Like so many other things in the American culture, there is a push by people who hate America too "fundamentally transform" it.

You are constantly bombarded with images of women and celebrities who fit one of these categories and they are held up as being the ideal. I find this repulsive and frankly none of those body types are attractive to me.

In middle America she's white with a huge ass, straight hair, 100 pairs of black tights, has 3 baby daddies and shops at Walmart. On both coasts she's more than likely immigrant or 1st generation, has a wardrobe that consists of 2 pairs of black leggings and 100 of everything else, doesn't shop at Walmart and doesn't have 3 baby daddies. I've spent time in 46 states. Women in Tennessee, Oklahoma, Indiana, Nebraska, Wisconsin, Kentucky and Missouri don't vary at all. You're literally seeing 1 cloned 3 million times. Black tights, Nike shorts, straight hair, ponytail, blonde, brunette. Salvadoran is considered "exotic" and they don't even know what Vietnamese even are. The diversity in body build and creativity in style is to be found on both coasts.

I think curves and thick thighs are nice… I don’t really care if ur waist is thin but don’t have an abnormally skinny waist. And I think any age is like beautiful like u don’t need to be young to be attractive. I find plenty of women older than me to be attractive :) what do you think?

I pretty much agree with all of that. The only area I'd clarify is that the butt not be too big, but rather a very nicely toned bubble, and that the thighs be toned and not too thick. But the rest sounds spot on.
