What do you find off putting about this outfit which is meant to be casual ?

OK so 🙏🏼 for opinions.

Problems I expected:

Color combo- tho personally I love pale yellow & black, I get it’s not for everyone.

Bra- yeah awkward. what a happened to grab & I didn’t realize until later.

yoga pants - not jeans- I needed to cover my skin & way too hot for tights.

Fit- too baggy.

Problems did not expect -dirty clothes 😂 mirror gets dusty bc of Bella- I forgot to wipe it.

Hemline-I love that hemline.

Waist- I don’t ❤️ it, it’s an empire waist, but that’s just it 🤷🏻‍♀️

Just so you know I do not think this question is “GREAT” in my opinion it is a very inconsequential question that I asked out if fleeting curiosity. & whilst I appreciate the answers very much, my intention was to delete it later today within the time frame before hag no longer allows deletes and as Gag has informed me it’s been chosen as great, I can no longer deists. oh well. But with all due respect, I really question the judgement if whomever decides it was great 😂 🙏🏼

’Comfortable’ is good! But ‘baggy’ can be a little trickier, at times, to make it ‘stylish’.

I think it’d look better if you swapped on of the parts in this set with a more ‘complimentary’ piece. If you leave the bright and warm-colored top, I’d try pairing it with slimmer- fitting pants. The pants can range from ‘ultra tight’ like tight jeans, or they can be worn as more snug, like a comfortable/ suitable pair of leggings.

If you switch out the top and keep the pants, I’m sure any shorter length of top, whether wavy and fluffy, or snug and thin, would work well with these pants.

What’s not really working in the pic was the balance of it

BUT

You can indeed, still wear it, if it’s just for absolute comfort- going to some park or picnic and you could add flip flops/ sandals so it doesn’t clutter you, or a nice headband with long tails 👒🎀 so that the whole outfit will be easily understood as ‘comfy’ and NOT ‘baggy,’ but ‘loose.’

These are just some observations 👐😄 and general recommendations. There really is no “wrong thing” with an outfit that does it’s job of clothing us, sheltering us from blistering sun, cold temps, or other climate nuisances; etc.

Yellow is my favorite personal color, so I’m already in love with this piece! I’m a fan! 🤩

~ and I’ve seen a few girls do the pants and dress combo and I’ve been a fan to rock one or two out myself when I really just wanted to chill 😎😍

Hope whichever you choose though, you’d love it!

😃 lol this is perfect it was basically my exact thought process. Originally I was just wearing the dress, but I get mad rashes in this area from some of the wood flowers so I had to cover my legs. It was too hot for tights and even tighter leggings just didn’t want anything wrapped around me 🥵 and yeah @ the park I wanted to be able to sit on grass swing on swings climb trees- comfortably. So it worked and after the fact I decided I kinda like it, it’s fun tho not what naturally pick esp in summer.

I do love yellow and black together, I used to think I’f I ever decided to get a car (I prefer walking scootering roller blading & public transit) I’d get a tiny car and paint in the fashion of a bumble bee 🐝 lol

😂 yeah I have to cover my legs bc I’m getting tastes from the flowers in this area. Tights are just too much in the heat soooo I go with the yoga pants bc they are soooo comfortable & POCKETS! I would wear these just for the fact of the pockets alone tbh lol

I would imagine you have an issue with being able to see your bra through it so maybe a yellow bra would be better? Or one of those like sports things which isn't really a bra?

Yeah it’s one of the things I thought looked weird, it was just a matter of that is the bra I grabbed, but then bc it was black yellow black, it reminded me of a bumble bee 🐝 which I like bees— so I didn’t mind much 😂

I think it would probably be quite hard to style, but instead of black jeans, maybe shorts (preferably a light colour or shade) and wear accessories that match with the shorts.

There's nothing wrong with the pants. The top is fine for casual wear, but it's not particularly flattering. I'm not sure if that's because of the fit or the overall design. It's not horrible, though.
