Why are people these days like walking advertisements?

They wear shirts with brand logos like Supreme, Adidas etc.. And they didn't get paid , by those big corpos, anyways.

Why don't people embrance and wear proper pieces e. g. waistcoat, frockcoat, linen poet shirts, silk cravat, starched collars and bowler / stovepipe hats. Those are way more masculine and attractive (especially when you wear them with pocket watch, fresh big boutonnière). Way better than a T-shirt worn with ripped jeans.

I depends on the brand, I think. With stuff like Adidas, all their stuff just has their logo on it and it's a popular brand. I don't think anyone is going out like "Yeah, everyone's checking me and my Adidas shirt out! I'm so cool."

Supreme is different. It's a... status symbol for morons. That brands entire identity revolves around overpriced tacky merch, and buyers know this.

What gets me, in a semi-related conversation, are kids who slap Monster Energy stickers on everything. I see it on random streetlamps and cars surprisingly often. Like Monster is involved in some sort of covert turf war. I like Coke but I'm not going to go throwing stickers everywhere to tell people about.

I'm a walking band flyer lol. I nearly always have some band shirt on (of bands im a fan of, unlike trend posers out there). As for brands, eh, fuck corporations.
