Putting everything else aside, like the brutal impact of models on societal standards and what they call influencers, on I think models should come in all possible combinations.

Models do not have to be like Twiggy to be good models. I think variety is not only the spice of life but a step towards identification and inclusion.

Assimetrical faced models automatically mean to someone less mature with similar characteristics 'oh, she has a face like me and is a model, so not all faces have to be one way to be beautiful". There is room for a child and a teenager then.

I didn't catch your age, but if you take a look at the impact models like Cindy Crawford, Oman, and others that were different from the white skeletal fashion pattern had, you'll be surprised how much ink about it ran on things other than fashion and their private lives...

I think very often models are below average looking and the clothes they wear, as well as the texts on the covers telling us "gorgeous, hot, sexy" etc make us believe that they are, even though we would never think so ourselves.

But I tend to think that it's better if we don't have modelling, that explicitly using body that may inspire people, at all. To not put anyone's body on the pedestal.
Maybe just clothes on a stick figure.
Then, we get to try for ourselves what kind of clothing suits and comfortable for us.
We can do trial and error in private at the dressing room.

I support body positivity's original intent, that people who have deformities or other things beyond their control shouldn't be treated like shit because of it.

Where body positivity loses me is when it's used to justify poor life choices, like over-eating.

Unfortunately the movement seems to have been almost entirely taken over by the latter group.

Facial and overall physical symmetry is a sign of good genetics and good health. On an instinctive level, we find such symmetry to be sexually desirable.
