I like it better without them, partly because I like grass and don't see what purpose the pavers serve. It's like they are laying there just for the sake of laying there. If they actually serve a purpose then it's another matter.

If you don't use that spot for tables and chairs, remove them, and bury the stones around the tree when you are at it. So you get a clean lawn.
