Does where you work slow down when the weather gets cold?

My work does slow down when it gets colder but then picks up again when guys start panicking to buy their girls gifts lol! Anyways it was a slower day today even after promoting this cute outfit although it might have not been flattering enough on my body

At the end of the year, wholesale vendors want to close out their older stock and discount it heavily. So that is when we buy huge amounts, often more than we have room for. We are extremely busy stocking shelves and overstock locations. Also a time when those who buy from us put in large orders. So we are much more busy at the end of the year.

I doesn’t really get cold enough here in Florida for anything to slow down, in fact if anything, it gets busier because winter, spring, and fall is our tourist season. Don’t get me wrong, we DO have a week or two in late December early January where it is winter clothes weather, but thats about it. It’s a shame really, because there are SO many cute winter fashions I’d love to wear, but I'm not buying entire outfits that I can only wear for a week or two.

A little bit. My island has colleagues who get cold easily so that's good, but other colleagues get warm easier so they'll open that window sometimes :(

Where I’m from when we get a couple inches of snow almost everything slows down. Once we got like 12 inches of snow it shut down the city for over a week. So yes our office is effect by the cold. But for me I love weather 60 to 72, but can do without the wind.

Nope. My work is picking up, end of year since so many people fucked off the previous 10 months. But it’s only about 4 more weeks till the Christmas break.

It's actually the reverse. My company wants to get as much done by the end of the calendar year as possible, so work in November and December is almost always much more intense and busier than the rest of the year.

Before my retirement. Things picked up in the Fall to haul all of the Christmas goodies and coal. Coal wasn’t for the bad people!

I worked on the railroad. The coal went to electrical power plants and to the decks to be exported. Plus UPS and others put their Christmas shipments on the railroad for all of you nice people!
