Can being pretty make someone unlikable?

I’m not actually “pretty” , I won’t say I’m hideous either lol …I’m not sure how to explain it but for example I’ll wear Vaseline on my lips and a little mascara and it will look like a did a full glam. I try to avoid wearing nails and colored lip gloss etc but I still come off as “snobby” ig. I’m not getting hired and I’m starting to wonder if this could be the issue. I know at least one interviewer told me that I was too girly for a particular job. I want to be likable but I don’t know what to do. People are so mean to me.

Well, as a woman hater, I dont hate women because of their looks, but their vicious, angry personalities. Everyone pretends women are the more understanding and empathetic gender, but they are really shitty people to be around.

I am not saying men are any better, but at least I can talk to them without taking everything up the ass. And a lot of them are plain boring to talk to. My friends with benefits just copy everything I say and have no creative thoughts.

But the person who judged you because of your appearance is retarded. You seem a more passive person who doesn't stand up for themselves than a snobby person.

Yes, I can tell. But it's not going to change unless you do something about it. Do public speaking. Toastmasters or whatever it is called.

Your lack of confidence will make it hard for someone to take your words seriously. Many people are scared and repeat the same things in an interview "I am a hard worker, team player, fast learner, etc." you see the lack of confidence on their faces and how they will handle customers.

You should not thank me; I am a woman hater. Well, you can also try going back to school for a master's and dont avoid any public speaking courses and communication courses. It's better to embarrass yourself in class than on the job when your boss ask you to speak.

You shouldn't think you come off as a snob, unless someone has told you so. In that case, they might be right, as well as wrong, but you should consider that they might be right.

I don’t think so but I do believe that if your aware that your pretty then it’s good being confident however if you believe your better than everyone else and too full of yourself I think that’s not a good thing. I have seen a lot of females that have this mindset where they think everyone’s jealous of them and that their better than everyone which I think makes someone unpretty. I hope this makes sense !

I’m not saying to pretty for a job. I’m talking about having hair, nails and makeup etc during a interview being view as snobby to and extent. Definitely not my attitude, never been told that before so that’s definitely new.
