If you can't buy it yourself, defend yourself at whatever level of persuasion a potential attacker might require, are not of legal age of consent, and do not have the maturity level to determine whether that is a good choice or not, you probably shouldn't be wearing that. As the use of force continuum escalates, not having a secure place to attach spray or a firearm severely compromises your ability to provide higher levels of defensive persuasion. Bottom line, they generally aren't a good idea at any age or maturity level.

I don’t think anything should have a hard age put on it. I started wearing them when I was 15-16.

That said, it is a little cringy when I see some girls in them now. Despite that, I think it’s up to the person and their parents.

Age and maturity level dependent. One might be putting off vibes to the wrong crowd. Definitely over 18
