How do I look with these flannels on?

Red is nicer. Stick to warmer colors, probably. That, or a darker blue when you have more of a tan, or a sky/baby blue.

I’m not a big fan of plaid, but you can definitely make it work. Try ‘buffalo plaid’ like this:

I recommend this kind of plaid/ flannel to have some of the black squares, so that everything ‘pops’

and/or this is my favorite part- wear the plaid shirt as an over shirt/ jacket, with a long sleeve, colors of the undershirt can range from: black/grey/ mustard/ maroon/ or white.

The plaid shirt will have to be loose and big enough to fit the other long sleeve underneath it.

If you like the ‘snug look,’ I’d recommend wearing that snug fit at line-dancing places and southern states such as Texas. New York would possibly get you a few curious people- I don't know.. it wouldn’t fit the “vibe” lol but New York is crazy you’d probably have no trouble at all, if it came to parties and socials. 🤠

You look stellar in the red. I vote the red as favorite. 👐 If you can’t return the blue one you have, or don’t want to anyhow, consider a white undershirt to give it more balance with the jeans and skin tone, and have some added, and well deserved ‘pop.’

extra note: while I was posting the pictures I remembered how I wear my plaid as well. (Probably not your style), but rolling up the sleeves is a major wardrobe plus. It makes it look cool and not as if… the wearer is from the boonies or something lol.

If you wear flannel gotta have class, or keep the tucked and gelled-to-the-side hair for the like dances in Texas, Mexico, Arizona, and Louisiana lol
