I was 19 when I thought it was a good idea to tattoo large Playboy bunnies on my arms. They were my first (and only) tattoos, and for a few weeks I simply loved them. I would even wear my Playboy tank top for the full effect.

At first I ignored or discounted all the negative response from the girls when I'd go out; I thought they were just being overly judgmental, and even cruel. None of them took me seriously, certainly not as boyfriend material.

Eventually I realized my mistake and was so embarrassed to be seen with these permanent logos on my arms. I felt like I was forced to wear Playboy shirt all-the-time, and every cringey look from the girls was like a dagger.

Here why I would never get one, the things you are crazy about now and willing to put a permanent label on your body you aren’t gonna feel the same way about them later. Imagine if some one gave you 10k to tatto yourself when you are a teen ager? I mean nobody isn’t embarrassed of how they dressed back then lol

I’ve dabbled with sharpie marker, and the simple, temporary tats.

Once, I accidentally found an image, I accidentally made, out of the “eyeliner mess” and wiping it on my hand 🤚 before applying it to my eyes. 👁

It was funny, so I left it on for a day. Was kinda cool.

Nothing painfully permanent.

I wrote some kind of complex abbreviation on the back of my hand in sharpie this morning. I am regretting it, now. I want to make it go away before my date this evening, and it is still there. …plus, I have no idea what it means and I don’t appreciate being reminded that I forgot something.

No... Nobody is saying that. But it shows your character at making decisions from a very yound age and into adulthood. Indeed, the type of alterations also ahow your personality

I wouldn’t get them if I was going to regret them. Mine are memorials. Pieces to take with me. They comfort others who see them too, if they knew the subject. Warms my heart when random people speak up.
