Why are people in downey california so rude?

I just don't understand why they act so wild and aggressive. There is a lot of racism but then again even "my" own race treats me poor here. I noticed cities with the least amount of money had the rudest people. The people have no class here and try to act gangster. Customers will often come in and make fun of my hair extensions or my jeans just because I'm wearing a loose pair of jeans. It doesn't help that I am a skinny black girl.

I've lived in ten states including California for twelve years. I've never noticed it. People in California might not be as polite as some other states, but that's far from being outright rude. Either you just ran across some abnormal people, or moved to an abnormal place.

It all depends where you live, such as people in the high desert area of California can seem friendlier compared to people on the coast, that is until you try to build up their area and bring unwanted gentrification and people from Northern California have a reputation for being chill
